Every time I see a 996 owner, I make sure to tell them what a piece of SH*T they bought. I will continue to belittle their liquid-cooled embarrassment to the Porsche community. Then, I finish by hitting on their wife/girlfriend.



Not really, I love all Porsche creations, from the 356 to the 914 to the 944 (my next Porsche) to the 996 to the Carerra GT. I just happen to prefer the model that I bought.

Well he must have observed that when one compares a 993 to the 996 and the fact that the 993 is an instant classic and the 996.....

According to their thread, we are always over here bashing 996s and Boxsters. Can't say that in two years I ever remember a thread where the 993 forum sat around bashing 996s and Boxsters.

Anyone don't matter what their age could look at a 993 and know it's a 911.

Now a 996, folks have a problem identifying what it is, nice car..but what is it. I remember one day driving with a buddy of mine, he look over at a 996 ..and said is that the new nissan.or something like that ..The other day my daughters friend mother who is Japanese came over, as soon as she saw the butt on the car she knew what it was..I told her it was 10 years old etc..didn't make a difference to her..it is what it is...
