Just got a message from a RLer (not Macca) who's test-fitting new 2010 Porsche Sport Classic wheels to his wide-body 993 tomorrow & requested update: From my experience, these should fit RS-level & higher suspensions without modification.
Due to Speedy's aggressive stance, primary option was to raise her. I instead milled 5 mm from the insides of the rear hubs.

For starters, Dieter welcomed shipping of Speedy there for the Dana Point, CA, Concours she was invited to. When I arrived to pick her up, Peter & Arnold offered a great tour.
They service previous work, such as the below rare 3.8L twin plug 993 TT that was there. They also pick & choose exotic projects to work on, such as RLer Porschemeister's two 993 GT2s last year, plus an amigo's amazing 356 outlaw. I have so much respect for their achievements, as well as our mutual friends' experiences with them, that the tour was better than an amusement park visit for me.
Their main 'bread & butter' these days is parts sales. FYI, for anyone interested in OEM Porsche factory 1994 964 Recaro sport bucket Speedster seats, they may have a set up for sale soon.

Jager. What is involved in plaining material from the hubs? Does the hub have to come out and how much material is left behind after 5mm reduction? Is it an accurate enough process to guarranty no compromise of concentric performance or strength? How far can you go? 7mm etc
