Who has coolest wheels on their 993?

That looks bad *** and will never looked dated or out of style. I would black out the brake calipers if you wanted it extra nasty or paint them to match the body color.

Hi Mike,
If I remember correctly, that set is in "Stahlgrau", which many associate with the 993 GT2 wheel color, but according to Jim is not the true 993 GT2 color - the GT2 color has more of a greenish hue. I can corroborate that side-by-side with my OEM GT2 wheel, the GT2 wheel is lighter in tone and has a more coloured hue.

Hmm, interesting. I have been talking to Tramont, to quote them, they use RAL code : 9023 - it's a pearl dark grey approaching the GT2 GREY - which is not a 100% match. I think they use that color because it's a standardized color available in epoxy paints which they use in Europe.
Stahlgrau is "Steel Grey" which is not a RAL color from what I can tell, and as you said is not a true GT2 color.
I actually don't care to match the GT2 color, I find that color too light anyways. I am looking for something a shade darker, which the picture above is about perfect. That is also the problems with pictures, it can look much different depending on the camera and monitor (never mind some doctoring that may have happened too..).
Cheers,
Mike

Tramont Club
after 11 years of scrutinizing this thread i feel i'm worthy to participate. maybe not the coolest but at least in the game...new shoes and rubber for my girl...tramonts 8.5 x 18 ET54 up front, 10 x 18 ET65 out back, 235/40 and 265/35 RE-71R rubber. love'em. both in how they make the car look, and how it feels on the road. the car actually rides better than when i was on 17's. and i have my 10's set at 6F and 5R, i'm tempted to turn that up a notch!
