Funny, I never noticed how many C2S's they made in 1998. I should have known that.

Real specifics are hard to find. My question is how many of the approximately 1700 cars that were built in 1994 and re-vinned as 1995 (M718) are six-speed coupes?

What about for the rest of the world? Did they publish total production numbers for the 993?

Okay, so do you have the original paperwork stating it was purchased from the dealership in 1997? This is US Sales not production.

Gbos1, to clarify, the table in post number 8 represents only US sales of a given model? Where was the '97 C4 Cabriolet produced and sold? The table has always been confusing, at least to me.

Thank you.

I had no idea that there were more cabriolets than coupes sold in the US. Wow!

I don't, but according to this data, my 1997 C4 Cab was either purchased in 1995 or 1998. Is that correct?

So, without further documentation, if this data is accurate, my car was a 1997 model, purchased in 1998.

Something has always confused me. If no '97 Cabriolet's were sold in the USA, where were they produced and how are they going n the USA if not sold in the USA?
