Absolutely!

Some inspiration for you, referencing a good friend's 993, here in the UK:

Where does one draw the line? pun intended .

@boomboomthump How did you create the art file for the CNC milling? We have the capability to mill brass dies in house. Love to have a set of dies made to emboss my seats.

No worries! We need some color-balance in here to avoid burning retinas.

I used vector drawings to provide a .ai file sized to my exact needs. They then converted it to 3d (reversed) and set the depth (I left this part to them... not my dept).

Completely agree. I'm planning a few changes with my 993 after a dozen years of owning it and painting the hardbacks is on the list.

I'm looking forward to seeing how your interior turns out - along with the rest of the car.

Thanks. What is the source of the vector drawings?

The internet.. there's probably hundreds of them. That's what people use to cut vinyl stickers, etc. Search "Porsche svg".

Tramont Cup 2's ordered!

18" x 8.5" ET46 (1.5" lip)
18" x 11" ET40 (3.5" lip)

Michelin PS 4S en-route as well.

225/40-18 fronts
285/30-18 rears

I now have three sets of wheels for a car that is a glorified bag of bolts at this point. Will likely end up selling the E88's down the road. After blacking them out (prior to the repaint) not sure I'll ever run black wheels on this car.

Just planning my cuts here. It's important to always ensure that any adjoining pieces all come from the same piece of material. All pieces for the seats will be from the same cut... all pieces for the steering wheel will be from the same cut, etc.

In my experience, there can be a slight variance from roll to roll when produced by Alcantara and also variance if you're dealing with backed/unbacked versions, etc. So it's important that any directly adjoining pieces are from the same piece of fabric.

As an example, the piece I ordered for the steering wheel and the piece I ordered for the seats are genuine Alcantara ordered just 4 weeks apart and there is a slight difference in color. Nothing you'd notice if comparing a steering wheel to a dash or door panel or seat which are separated from one another. But if they are sewn together or otherwise adjoining, it can be noticeable. I almost planned to cut a few of the seat pieces from the cut I had for the steering wheel bits in an effort to be efficient and minimize some scrap. But after fiddling around with the layout, was able to abide by my rule.

Started on the steering wheel after I confirmed that all seat pieces will in fact be from the other piece of fabric.

Cant wait to finish it. Obviously started with the easy part first. Now comes the fun...

Saw this on IG earlier - stunning start. The only way to improve the best steering wheel - this RS one - is to have it in Alcantara

World-renowned (for air-cooled Porsche) Southbound Trimmers, based in the UK. Not to derail this thread, but to answer your question with pics - yes to the dashboard:
