Depending on mileage a 993 4s goes from about EURO 85 K to the current record of just above 300 K.
I'm in Germany, prices in the US are not very different, but a little higher.

Unfortunately...on the bright side, I don't mind something with more miles. It'll be driven. Just patience I guess

It is impossible to tell what will sell for what right now.. we are coming into the fall, so i expect things to soften a bit- but these cars are in demand. I have contemplated selling mine and getting into another project- only have room for one. I love it, and have dumped tons into it- but I have no idea what a fair price would be and i'd probably regret it so i'll keep it another year and see if that "loving feeling" is still there.

Not so fast ... Dreaming? .. I dunno. . The local Porsche dealer where the 993 & wife's 981 Cayman are both serviced, the GM has made 3 no BS 993 cash offers over the last 5 years or so. Their last offer was in February '23 for $165K.
I'm the original owner having spec'ed the build, ordered in May 1997 with a Monroney just shy of $80K for a nicely optioned C2S. ..The coupe is in exceptionally good condition with 82K miles. Always garaged with an open checkbook service practice. It's my baby after all ...
While $188K does seem a bit "dreamy" come to think of it. But hey,,, I never thought 993s would get this stupid $, not ever! .. I wish the '97 C2S seller the Best of Luck.
The C2S coupe has been spending time on the West Coast at Bruce Canepa's shop; It's getting a complete once-over of all the mechanicals. Engine, suspension, brakes, HVAC, etc. .. Once completed, I'll share the Canepa pictorial provided with every step.. Cheers, M/S

This should be interesting: https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/1...-carrera-s-15/
what is going on underneath, though? is that just black spray paint or some form of protection? looks like spray paint to me. description lists a 'cold air intake' and yet it simply has one of those completely open filter covers - nothing 'cold' about that.
a little work here and there and you have a very unique '98 C2S.

very interesting... very rare pastel yellow on C2S, rare chestnut interior with sport seats, low miles...
