I don't have any of the parts but other forum members have spoken highly of the quality. Not inexpensive but you generally get what you pay for.
someone sat down at a dealer and checked a ton of special order red, and paid a ton of money for it.
all these things circled are special order, cheap to replace with black if you wanted to, but probably impossible to replace in red.
pillars, roof liner, visors, passenger air bag cover, steering column cover, all one time special order.
unlikely to be another interior like it in the world.
also seems like if ordered that way there are mechanical special orders too, maybe cruise and ac were a factory delete?
maybe rs engine parts or transmission?
lots of fun.

definately a beauty, big fan of that red interior. Please take a picture of the build from the sticker under the bonnet, by the latch. Be interesting to see the build codes.

I'm confused about a few things:
1: According to this info the car should have a Cashmere beige/black interior. LG
2: The invoice talks about 08-07-1994, but first registration date is 11 oktober 1995.
3: Model Year 1994, but option 718 tells Modeljahr 95. and chassisnummer 10th digit is S this should be model year 1995.
There are some more interesting codes:
718 Numerik Modelljahr '95 S-Programm (what do they mean with S-Programm?)
534 Diebstahlsicherungsanlage (does the car have a Alarm? I have no remote)
09991 EXC-optionen mit Abweichungen (what can this be?)
Can somebody tel me more about the option codes on the car?
And how accurate is the info from the Porsche databank?

if I look at the invoice1 date, and date first registered (november 1995)
the car has been with the dealer for a whole year.
Maybe a customer decided to buy the car but requested the Flamenco red interior.
that could explain why the interior-code don’t match.

Perhaps this car was originally going to the US or are all Euro 993 models given US emissions?
Very nice find Gert. Changing the steering wheel and the seats should nicely tone down that interior.
Just by the way, my "actual 1995" model was built in 09/94 so only 6 months apart.

This car is first registered oktober 1995 in Kuwait, seems that Kuwait is ordening US spec cars.
The car is exported to Europe in januari 2009, and in june 2009 the car was sold and never registered again.
So the car is only used for about 13,5 years

But, I will try the black mats first 😁
maybe post a pic of the hood sticker for options codes
there are threads on cars with special options

Option 718 is for a model year adjustment. Under certain regulations at the time, a manufacturer could reVIN a car to a newer model year. A 718 car is reVINned, but done so by the factory and therefore is has no VIN issues. Read about it here: http://968register.org/optionalequip...tion-code-718/ . I don't know what "S-Program" refers to, but may have to do with the 10th VIN character (model year signifier) being changed to S.
The EXC option is an Exclusive option. The documents I have don't show it. Exclusive brochures stopped using the EXC prefix in calendar year 1989. They then switched to X## (they would later add Z, etc.). As you probably know, Optionen mit Abweichungen translates to "Options with changes."
I am not an expert on the inner workings of Exclusive, but if I had to guess the meaning of code 09991, I would imagine it instructed the factory to see an attached note for the customer's requests (portions of or the group of which was not contained by normal Exclusive options). Exclusive-processed invoices today can still have handwritten notes sent to the factory.
