Yep that one is easy. It was built as a 1994 model. It was sold in the USA as a 1995 model.
Quite common practice since 1993. The first use of option M718 I am aware was with the first of the RSAs. They had 1993 VINs but 1992 engines and were built in the 1992 model year.
Now some people will tell you that it is a 1994 model, brought up to 1995 specs and sold as a 1995 model. This is not entirely accurate. It is important to know this when ordering parts. This may help avoid getting something that does not fit or does not work.
What are the first three letters of the engine code. Your VIN 10th digit will be a "S" but I suspect the third digit of the engine code wll be a "R". If this is a "S" it means you have a 1995 motor. R means you have a 1994 motor.

Dear Ploglet,
Yes that would be the VIN I would expect. I would like to see the engine serial number as well. Just for interest you understand. These were all ROW 1994 models converted to 1995 US versions.
