I used heavy gauge tree stake wire on hooks into studs. More than one stud per body panel, just in case

I'd like some ideas for garage art and I'm thinking about some vintage Porsche posters in frames I saw on Instagram. I know some of you have pretty cool man caves hiding away- show us what you've got!

Thanks.

I use six 12x36 illuminated tire signs to add some color to my tiny 20x28 3-car garage.

Have a bunch of posters to hang one of these days.....

If anyone is looking for vintage posters i will have a number of unique mint ones from the 60's 70's and 80's coming up for sale soon.

This is just a small % of some. I have no more wall space left in my house and dozens of posters already framed and hung.

Just to give you an idea of what I will have for sale. There are at least 50 different ones all in equally pristine condition. Some I don't think you will find anyplace else and sorry to say won't be cheap.

Great thread!
Wondering the same as OP, I ended up cluttering it all up with lots of stuff. Both old & new, mostly gas station related and stuff i gathered from events.

I like the old stuff from the early porsche periode and it all is complete with a couple of aircooled cars. The garage itself is not that big, but its very effective 😂😅

They are not mounted. Most have been rolled up for decades in tubes tucked away. The ones I pictured are in plastic sleeves to keep them preserved and photographed for now. Most are in A1 condition some have some wear. Very rare and unique original posters. You can find copies of some of these in reduced sizes cheap but very rare to find some of these in original condition like this. There are 86 in total.

These days my garage is more of an overflow space for ‘anything and everything’ than a proper / dedicated work space… without going off on a tangent, can any of you recommend affordable modular garage storage system (bench / cabinets, etc). Any thoughts (choices you made) on brands such as: New Age / Gladiator / Seville Classic …(?)

I have been experimenting with conceptual p-car expressions (examples attached) but need to refurbish / upgrade the physical space for the ‘diorama’ pieces in the making…
