Cool stuff. I just added a few more to the hall leading from the garage to the man cave. Far too many to post but these are some of the new ones. Some are currently being framed. I have another 20 or so vintage posters mostly LeMans winners and or cup posters from the 90's. Plus some Indy Porsche posters. Just no more wall space to hang them.

Please excuse the messy garage. It was in the throws of being reorganized when I took this, although my garage is more a workplace than showplace.

Thanks for all the ideas and inspiration - here's what we ended up doing. Starting off slow- plenty of room for more in the future!

That sounds fantastic, show us some images when you're done! I made a desk pen holder from a 3.6 barrel when I over-revved and broke off a valve!

Here are some quick images but basically:
  • Find some used red worn out Persian carpets.. (craigslist)
  • Gather a folder of some of your favorite "automotive" B+W images, (Pinterest does a pretty good job with this)
  • Go to Walmart or an antique shop and purchase a bunch of black or brown frames- use your printer with photo paper and make some prints of the images-
  • Black or dark walls is very good! Like @Meenrod
  • Think about lighting.. You don't want to flood the whole place with a bunch of light, but task lights and work lights-
  • Hit up that local antique shop and find a Chesterfield!

Hmm.. #mooty wins! Anybody with a Carrera GT and that collection of bikes, and can build that garage in the bay area automatically wins!
