Pad Keeper is a product that extends the life of the sound pad installed over the engine. It always starts saging and then slowly starts to disintegrate. I installed one on 964C2 and will re-use it with the new one (engine out- full rebuild maybe 3.8..)

I really really really want your a/c line set up! I have been looking into making that myself but if I could source it I sure would. Who did that work? I did get in touch with griffiths (Porsche a/c shop- great stuff) and they can provide the manifold for the (stock) compressor that routes the lines out the side (as yours are) but thats as far as I’ve gotten.

Also- just thought I’d ask what prep was done to the mag and aluminum stuff before it was cerakoted. Is that compressor also coated?

Lookin good!

The ac set up is all custom and cerakoted. As for the surfaces, you’ll have to sand down and polish the plenums to a smooth surface.

What happened to the Cerakote on the plenum ? Really liked how it looked in the dyno room photo.

The bronze plenums didn’t look good in person. Looked a little like dog poop... much cleaner and sophisticated now.

Looks awesome OP..

How much "hidden" work is involved in a conversion such as this..? My non Varioram Intake has a bunch of electrics stuck to it [MAF etc.] so wonder how all this is treated..? I'm guessing there might be a few redundant wires..

I'd love to have a GT3 plenum, but wonder if my budget would need to be twice what I think it needs to be..?

This is not a straight forward conversion. You'd have to call Jeff at Rothsport for more technical info, but basically you'll need to convert your car to Motec, which means you'll need a custom wiring harness at the very least.

I have the same kit - it's not just the GT3 plenum, the plenum sits on top of a set of ITB's so you'd have to completely remove your whole intake setup. Rothsport kit, injectors, Motec M48 and custom loom - you're looking at the thick end of around £10k in parts alone.
