Can anyone recommend a good inspector for a Driver's Ed Tech Inspection?

This is my first event, and it is held by the BMW club actually (because my buddy was already going and he's got a BMW). Is it the case I would need an inspection by someone specified by the particular car club or can you just find any technical inspector?

just lurking here - but I must mention I take my 86 911 to Cheech @ Rennwerke, and IMO he is a righteous guy.
Hmmm, maybe i should start thinking about the beemer DE's just for availablity - anybody have any experience w/ them?
