Plus the time to travel to and from the gas station. My 'fill-ups' take 0 minutes and I never need to travel anywhere to do it.
Of course not everyone has 'home charging'. Over 80% of charging currently does take place at home, but it's fair to say that number will likely drop as adoption extends more into apartment owners and lower income groups.

I refuel approximately once every 3 weeks which takes about 3 minutes, try that with your EV. I can park absolutely anywhere I choose every night with no concerns about plugs, cables, blah, blah, blah.

I never drive to a gas station as they are literally every where you go if you haven't noticed. They are always on my way regardless of where I am headed so it takes no time at all.

this is the family car for around town driving. works great, fast as my GTS off the line and I spend so little on “gas” at 10.5 cents and KWh. Comes out to an equivalent of like a $1 something a gallon. Fits all six in the family along with the dog. If I have to take a long road trip and I was to worry I would just rent a car, I get them for $50 a day through work and have racked up thousands of miles on rental cars for very little.
If we were out in CA I would think twice since their electricity is so expensive.

heck I drove the gts 650 miles last Sunday and most would question how could you do that with Centerlocks. They are cars and some have a different purpose for different people. For us the EV is great for 99% of the time. 280 miles of range is a long way if you use it from around town!
he did not complain about the drive

I had to really jam him in there. His crate was disassembled and in the back seat and then I put his bed in the front and wrapped everything I could with towels and sweatshirts to keep down the scratches. I think it worked out well. He went 300+ miles and never moved, just stared over at me
