Car seems very impressive if you are fine with PDK. I can't say I love the new styling or interior changes though. The meters in the tach showing the activity of the hybrid system are kind of neat I suppose.

The fact that sound gets pumped in annoys me so much. This is extreme but I’d rather have the car be silent than some fake noise coming through (hence why I also hate all the stupid EV sounds that have been “developed” in recent years…).

From what I’m gathering the GTS is getting a wow while the base is getting a meh. In other words if you have a 992.1 base then no reason to upgrade and the GTS is next gen step up.

I think the “fake” part needs to be confirmed. If it is the tube allowing intake sounds, that’s fine IMO as it *is* engine sound. If it is through the speakers though, that would be a shame.

Ive watched quite a few reviews now and I havent seen a single one for a base outside of a few off hand comments. Looks like the base reviews will come in the following days , so im not sure how you have inferred a "meh" yet from any of the reviews.
