It looks like the new grey that replaced Agate Grey, but it might be my screen?

Maybe, maybe not but the "reason" given by the Porsche guy , that it doesn't have a wastegate, is a red herring. Tuners aren't taking control of the wastegate directly anyway they are changing the demands the ECU is making. Given that the GTS is undoubtedly controlling boost in some way via the electric part of the turbocharger, it's still just the matter of altering the targets in the ECU maps. The only question is how hard the encryption is to break which is the same issue it's always been regardless of the type of turbo used.

Our current GTS config is IGM with Blue Cabrio roof and Dark Night Blue interior--plays well together based on samples we had in the sun...still a few months to lock though;-)

Yup agreed. Maybe even the 992.1 GTS!

The Carrera is not single turbo. It is twin turbo, just like the 992.1.

Has any reviews talked about whether there is OPF on the exhaust on US-spec'ed cars? Does anyone know?

They didn't dwell on that rear end too long I noticed. 😆

for 992.1. the cost of “high gloss sport design kit” is $500 more than the body color one.

For 992.1 the “high gloss sport design kit” comes with high gloss SD side skirt, and the high gloss black front lip.

For 992.1 SD (sport design) only cover front bumper (painted lip) and rear bumper. The “body colored” SD kit is extra.

but the cost “high gloss SD kit” = “SD kit” + “SD side skirt” + $500.

i know this well becaue i was debating between the 2 and decided to go against high gloss. The high gloss side skirt dissappeared making the car appears higher (body color side skirt make the car appears lowered from side view)

the star of the show in that video, for me, are those headlights - must have option!

All the headlights "look" the same now correct? Just the function is different with the optional PDLS? Or not??

No, the base lights are a different look (but now have lots of standard functionality) all the rest of the lights you are seeing in press photos are the optional new matrix lights, which have even more functionality over the 992.1 matrix.

The 992.2 sounds louder and more "scream-ish" for the lack of a better word.

The 992.1's distinct howl seems to somewhat disappear in the 992.2.

Edit: my mistake. somehow thought the video was comparing the 992.1 GTS vs the 992.2 GTS. It was actually the 992.2 base vs 992.2 GTS. But yes, the GTS seems to sound louder (likely due to 'fake' engine sounds being transmitted into the cabin) but lose the 911 howl..
