Mine locked a full 4 weeks "early". A surprise but not a problem in my case.

Oh... Good to know that I'm not alone. Maybe my delivery will be out of the blue too. "Hey your 911 is here". "Oh, still shows at the local entry port. BRT".

I wouldn't be mad about knocking a month off delivery date... if it actually equates to that.

Talked to my salesman today. My wife's 992.2 will be here around the 24th of August. He said currently the on sale date for the 2025s is scheduled for September 15th. So none of us will be taking delivery until then unless something changes.

My SA had the same "on sale" info as you but thought it was a little dated, didn't know if it was still operative. At the moment, my 2025 is still sitting in Baltimore, "administrative hold", though the delivery date to the dealer on the SA's system shows 8/3 which obviously isn't accurate anymore. Others have speculated that pending EPA certification is the delay in port. Thanks for posting your SA's info. Though disappointing, it's good to know.

September 15 might work better for me anyway if the Fed is going to lower the prime interest rate mid-month.

My 992.2 GTS “ordered” in May for BC Canada.
Nothing is yet locked down and the official tracker just shows my ghost car:

Congrats! Is that Lugano blue you ordered? Here's mine (currently on a boat just thru the Panama Canal):

Yes! I’ve seen it in person and it’s beautiful! It’s way more regal than in photos. You picked well!

Honestly don't mind waiting to see if the Fed lowers the rate and it works out to be where that's around my birthday too

Awesome! I'm having the dealer apply the black "Porsche" stripe up the center on it. The configurer has a bug where it forces you to choose a carbon fiber roof with that, but it looks stunning in the 360-render!

I'm doing the same I think. I selected sunroof and then could not add stripe to the hood and rear. Obviously I know you can't add the stripe to the top.

I wonder if other manufacturers play as tight with getting EPA approval for the particular model. Here you have 2025 Carreras being build, with the EPA's website not currently showing they have compliance approval.
