911Wannab....Did you think about the front lift system...We did not have it on our 2019 991.2 and was always scraping the front end splitter. On our 2021 992.1 we had it, so much better. Just a thought.

Did you have the sport design front? From what I’ve seen the regular front end gives you 4.7 in of ground clearance which should be enough. Same as my g80 M3, but I do scrape sometimes with the concrete parking blocks.
On another note I added leather and now I’m really over my budget!

For clearance you need more than height from the ground. 992 bumper has longer overhang than G80 M3

We did not have the sport design on the 991.2, but we did on the 992.1...You will be much happier with leather package instead of the plastic dash. Good luck with the budget as we found out.

I caved in and got the leather package with chalk stitching. The plastic dash in person looks like styrofoam

they will send you 3 pictures of your car once the build is complete. It probably will come the day after. They will be sent via email and in the myporsche app.

You can't go wrong with the leather, good choice.

My base Cab moved to step 4, "manufacturing has started", this morning. That's right on schedule. If things hold up it'll be done with manufacturing on 7/26. I'm looking forward to some pictures!

I moved to step 4 on Monday and also checked in with my SA and they checked and everything is still on schedule. If things go as planned it should arrive in Chicago area late next month.

Congrats guys!

my c2 is scheduled to go to step 4 Monday 7/22. Odd thing is that it’s scheduled to finish production 8/20 (1 month duration?!). My guess is you guys got into production with just enough time to finish before August plant closure, while I may miss finishing prior to closure? Here’s to hoping we all get our cars in August!
