Looking for opinions on base 911 build
I got an allocation last week for a base 911 and the config locks in early next month with a late May delivery. First 911, so I'm looking for opinions on my selections and whether or not I missed something critical. I am leaning toward Artic Grey as of now, but I am also considering GT Silver...

I would drop power steering plus and upgrade to the 18 ways. I just like the way the seats look, they look more like sport car seats. I would also go high gloss and the wheels since you packaged other high gloss black. I would also drop the sports exhaust (this can be programmed). I would also consider the 930 interior package.

The world has enough silver 911s. I would consider ditching the black wheels — they’re played out. The standard silver wheel looks great with the gray and you could save yourself $1290.
By ditching FAL and going with silver wheels, you save FIVE GRAND without any material difference to your experience.
If you go with GT silver, no FAL, no special wheel color, you save yourself OVER EIGHT GRAND and take nothing away from the experience.

I don't think you need FAL, unless you have a really steep driveway.
I'd definitely go for either one of the Sports Seats Plus options.
I prefer GT Silver and it's also cheaper.
Consider the exterior package painted or sport design front fascia. They change the front in a nice way.

Great feedback! Concerning FAL...no issue with my driveway, but I do run into steep entrances in some parking lots and retail business here in NC. The sales rep also said it's not likely needed on a base car, so I will have to rethink that... I would like to save that cost.

Crest in headrests?
I thought the general consensus was that the PDLS lights didn't really do much because of US DOT restrictions? If you break out the premium package items without the lights, does it come out less?

Maybe add the crest to the headrest?
Edit: @nyca PDLS+ operate as they should within the U.S. You gain the auto high-beam function and the swivel feature. The Matrix LEDs are watered down in the U.S.

Will definitely add the crests.

That's a good looking build. Arctic Grey is a very nice grey but are you sure you want to pay over $3k for another grey color? Otherwise, like everyone else has mentioned, drop the FAL and add the Porsche crests on the headrests. I'm in favor of black wheels but I personally would go gloss to match the rear logos, etc.

I love GT Silver, but I have had several silver cars over the years, so I'm just concerned I might get bored of it quickly. I'm still considering it, though. I prefer black wheels and went with the satin since my experience with gloss wheels is that they get scratched from frequent wheel cleanings (even being careful). I would also prefer satin black on the logos, but it's not an option. I will consider switching wheels to gloss black to match.
