It's going to have the same powertrain and setup as the BMW XM, but with improved EV only range of up to 60 miles.

It's going to be fine, and probably more than fine. Weight notwithstanding.

The G90 is a full 1,000lbs heavier than the F90. This is currently a major conversation amongst veteran M5 owners. An additional 1,000lbs is extremely difficult to ignore.

Those of us who owned E39s are still longing for the good old days. the new 5er has just gotten visually too large for me. For the 7er the hulking visuals work, for the 5 which should be the sportiest mid size 4 door drivers car on the road it just has lost its touch.

I have never understood all the hype over the E39 and I have got one with under 75k miles. The steering box is the worst thing about the car and it was only applicable to the V8s, M62 and S62.

That being the case, which models will possibly be available with manual transmissions?

Poker weights simply apply to all marques, especially those of German dissent. Nevertheless back to the subject at hand, the 992.2.

Manufacturers keep making their cars bigger and with addition of hybrid much heavier
I know they are responding to customer demands
but all my friends and myself , never filled a survey and complained about size of a car , so not sure who is filling these surveys
back to G 90, it is much bigger than F90, I had two of them , and I thought they were already too big
I thought BMW will shrink the size of G90 and save significant weight

When the car gets that heavy what is the point? Just get a Taycan or a Lucid instead...

I have a 992 GTS and had a E39 530 and later a F10 M550

The E39 was a great car ... GREAT - loved it totally.

The F10 550 was a FAST PIG, Straight line fast ... but man it was a joke if you threw it into a corner.

BMW has killed itself IMHO ... The E39 M5 was the last good car... it's why I own 911's now

Honestly I have no idea and there was no info on the document. The document only mentioned dates, bhp and engine.

I will try to find out in the next 2-3 weeks.

The six cylinder E39s had rack and pinion steering, vastly superior to the V8’s junk steering box.

I was exceptionally loyal to BMW for over 30 years. I am currently abandoning them with two 911s (997.2 & 992) in the garage. I still own three BMWs though, down from five as of last fall.

Thanks for sharing as I hadn’t seen the video. I wish that they would have taken some interior images though.
