-991.1 2012.5, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 (4.5 years)
-992.1 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 (5 years already)

I think the above strongly suggests that the 992.2 will be a model year 2025 and will be produced later this year. It would be really strange to have the same version (992.1) for 6 model years. I just can't see that happening but of course could be wrong.
Word on the street is that the 992.2 is delayed until next year. If that is true then we will have a 6 year model run for the 992.1 (2020-2025).

It’s all speculation. I speculate that 992.2 will be released at Geneva Motor Show.

I think they will have a strong presence at GMS, with Macan 4, Taycan gen2, and hopefully 992.2.

Last time I went to GMS, admittedly in 2019, Porsche had a large stand, not shared with PAG. Even Piech had a separate smaller stand in a supercar section.

PS. this is my post #992, so I hope I am right

corner of the tails are uncovered and more visible in those pics ^^^

not sure i've ever seen so many spy pics prior to the release of any mid cycle improvement of any car. Not many surprises left visually. (powertrain different story).

Plus they are still taping off the Porsche logo in the back. Scary times.

Wow the front is very meh. Why is the ACC off center? Looks weird. I just noticed they also got rid of the led strips and incorporated the turn signals into the headlight DRL. Not a good change imo.

Second set of photos shows the sport’s design front bumper, I think, with no vertical fins. OK with that one.

I think that is camouflage. The bottom “lip” portion is too thick… I attached pictures with markup lines highlighting this, somewhere above.

The latest C&D issue claims to have seen internal documents of the following:
  • T-HEV hybrid to slot between the GTS and Turbo - 395 HP TT 3.0 with a 2.0 kWh battery making 80-90 hp
  • GTS and Turbo models will share a new 3.6 TT unit
  • GT3 models will get the same 3.6 unit minus turbos
  • C2 and C2S will keep the same 3.0 unit from the 992.1 with modest HP bumps

Wait so no manual on the hybrid?? Who would have known???

But Honda made a CRZ manual hybrid with 18hp once, so surely this means Porsche can do it.
