I am a huge fan of this car, and am very much entertaining one post-GT3 RS. That said, I live in an area where we get snow, ice, fire roads, etc. and it would definitely get driven year-round. Its one of the first times there is a production 911 available that would be a blast to drive in the winter months.
I enjoy my Raptor as much as my GT cars, and this would fit the bill very closely, and would get driven!

Meaning, if/when you go to sell your rally car, you would more likely recoup more of your money in a Porsche than in the Lambo.

It is dumb and it is going to end very badly for some people. There are people out there who are buying these cars for investment purposes, or thinking that they will buy it, drive it for a few months and flip it for more than they payed...it is fueled by social media personalities who push this. It works very well for the influencer who can use their purchase history or celebrity to get cars for MSRP or a small ADM but it is a big fail for people that pay prices like these.
Most people who are in the 1% of wealth, and actually earned their money through businesses/carreers (not bitcoin traders and social media influencers), are very savvy with their money and will not pay close to 2x MSRP for a mass produced cars.

People like lumber21 are driving it like it’s meant to be driven.
People like Manny are buying these solely for investment; and that’s 99% of them. I get it, dealers want ultra wealthy clients as they have money to buy limited, numbered cars, but it’s the peasants like us that keep the employees working the other 364 days of the year. If they only give these cars to people like Manny instead of spreading the wealth around, people are going to get pissed.
Getting a GT car at MSRP at launch is pretty much like someone handing you free money. If the average 911 owner had opportunities to make money periodically, I think they’re inclined to stay with the brand. But if it’s the same 10 guys at your dealer getting all the cool cars, then…🤷🏿♂️
