I try to plan my dealer outreach really strategically so hoping to know before I begin this next round of outreach!

I think early November is when the Q4 allocations are usually given to dealers. Im not sure what your strategy is, most dealers have lists of people, including existing clients, waiting for cars so unless you are going to call and offer over MSRP it is not going to get you an immediate allocation.

I’m already on the list at my 2 closest dealerships. Just trying to straddle the line between being timely and persistent vs. being annoying. I figure a touch point to each once T allocations have definitively dropped is my best strategy. I know I don’t have a ton of posts / activity on RL, but I would assume most people on these forums have a pretty good idea of the current market landscape (limited production, lists, potential ADM, etc.).

Broker guy I know has a manual GT Silver Carrera T available for MSRP (+broker fee) arriving in 1-2 weeks as well as a buildable slot for a Carrera T. PM me if you want to get connected.

I'm hoping they don't build too many T's and keep them relatively "special."

Full agree, but unfortunately for the North American market I suspect we have probably already surpassed that.

T and GTS trims are not "special" this generation of cars.

The reality is that (special) only appears to fall upon the RS and the variants from the Heritage Collection, aka the Sport Classic, Dakar, and S/T.

From a national search on Cargurus from 2020-2024 for coupes:

Carrera S - 117
Carrera T - 30
Carrera GTS - 52

There’s reason to suggest either people are dumping Ts and GTS models as soon as they get them. The S has been out for 4 years, GTS 2, and T 1.

Was just offered a December T build by my local dealer. Bummed at being local, but was previously told over a year after I had been waiting 9 months. I have my out of state T allocation arriving in 30 days give or take. Can’t wait to be done with this ‘game’ for a little bit!

the allocations published today.

anecdotally we got no T's but got good number of S allocations - seems to be they build them in batches as last time we got the other way around

If you want a "rare" Carrera, go find a C4 allocation. The T and GTS are the dominant trims right now. There's nothing limited about them.

Allocations dropped yesterday as I had 2 different DFW area dealers reach out. I was able to get a T allocation at MSRP for Jan build. First Porsche!

People are missing the main point of my post: I said "relatively rare" not GT3 RS rare or S/T rare but in the grand scheme of the "ordinary" 911's, made in smaller numbers than the Carrera, S or GTS.

Any TT/TTS allocation you got for Q4? Thanks!

Porsche may be getting caught up in some markets. One of the local dealers to me has three available new 911s on the lot. Two are '23 and one a '24. They have two more listed as SOLD!

Another had an unspoken for S allocation in early October.
