An update on car graphic. i put one on my S and it kept throwing "bank 1 exhaust singnal implausible" porsche could not get it to stay cleared. everything they tried failed. Ill add that kevntao was correct that the valves stay open in sport mode all the time
Interesting... My experience is completely different from you guys with PSE not making any difference until like 2 minutes after starting the car. You can see it in my video above. Do you also have a 992.2 Carrera?

Oh duhh... I read right past you saying you had an S - sorry about that. The reason I wanted to confirm is that it sounds like kevntao has a 992.2 Carrera like I do, but he says PSE on/off actually makes a difference in his even during cold start (unlike mine). For what it's worth, my production start date was 3/3 and production end date was 3/7. Maybe software versions are different?

when the car is on normal you can hear a difference. With sport. There is no difference
Yeah that video seems really weird, if PSE is on, the valve should be open even if stock mode, not in valve controller mode.
I get my car back in the morning so I should be able to record this tomorrow for my car

Yeah, this is the behavior I've always had on this car, from the moment it was driven off the truck at the dealer. I was shocked when I first started it up that PSE did nothing during the high RPM cold start. Clearly something differs between our cars...
Came across this video of the RWP valve controller, which exhibits the same behavior I'm experiencing. For what it's worth, I've also had the drive mode in normal and sport (with PSE on), and they all have the same behavior during cold start. I'll have to try sport plus mode.
Yeah that's the expected behavior for the 992.1. I was expecting mine to act the same but it definitely does not
i think 992.2 S is just gonna need a new CAT to get sound out of it. flat 6 returned my controller when i told him what was going on and he confirmed again their base model valves act the saqme as the .1

My base 992.2 acts the same as you, valve is wide open when PSE is enabled. I'm thinking the same from Soul's supercut video that sport cats are all that I would really need for a while. I'm keeping the controller because 1, it's installed, 2, it wasn't $700, and 3, i like not having to press 2 buttons on start-up, only the auto-stop/start disable

Ill prob wait till winter to see what else is available for the .2. They raised the price of the soul cats $850 for the .2. Prices will come down as more crack the .2 ecu
992.2 guys, thanks for sharing all of this. I took delivery of a 992.2 T last Friday. It's currently in the shop getting PPF/ceramic/tints, scheduled to come back home Monday. I have the cargraphic controller at home waiting to install. I was beginning to wonder if I was imagining things when cold starting in Sport / Sport Plus rendered no fun starts, but then a minute or two later the exhaust would come to life! I've also read that even with PSE, the exhaust flap varies in how much it opens depending on throttle input and engine speed. I'm expecting this unit to fully open the flaps at all times. I wonder if you can control them with the engine off to open the flaps before turning the engine over on cold starts.

just before you install it. let it get warm and idle in sport mode. if the vlaves are open return the car graphic. if the arent put it on. seems base and S have different behaviors

Gotcha. My understanding though is that these will actually fully open the flaps regardless of engine state, whereas PSE fluctuates how open the valves are.
