Confirmed with SA today that they get the first half of the quarterly allocations and the second half will be released in a month. I don’t get my allocation at this point but am moved up to the first on their C2 GTS WL.

in my allocation I only got 1 911. Was a ‘24 targa 4 GTS, but still only 1

So is it a 992.1 or .2?

not able to configure it yet, and no news yet to any changes making it a .2, so I’m as unsure as everyone

I highly doubt a 992.2 would launch with a Targa 4 GTS in the first year. If the allocation is truly a '24 then it's a strong indication the 992.1 will run at least partially through MY24.

When do you think you'll be able to configure MY24?

My dealer just got their allocations, only two 911's: my long awaited (since Aug 21) Targa 4s (2023) and a Turbo S (2024).

Maybe it’s just me - but I would think that Porsche would officially ANNOUNCE the 992.2 before giving out allocations to build them.

The configurator should get updated to reflect the 992.2 changes too…

Man…pretty stingy on the 911 allocations. Not great news to start clearing the wait lists.

Talked to my local dealer, they also got their allocations.

They got two, a T and a Turbo S, both of which went to folks already waiting.

Did they mention anything regarding first half and second half of the allocations? I am not sure what they mean

I did have a lengthy discussion in which he frankly shared the situation. Essentially, he said next allocations would be around August for Q4 build schedule.

Some days, I really wish a 911 wasn't my "dream car", so I could just move on and try to find something else.

Question - I heard some dealer got T allocations, others base. However, not a single mentioned 992 S.

Is there a reason? I would have thought more people would prefer S over Base Or T.
