According to my SA they received allocations in February non 911’s, there getting another round of allocations end of March for 911’s I’m not sure if I believe it at this point, he has been promising since last December.

We got our allocations About a week or so ago.
It included 911's.
NOW...there are some 911's that we received that are not "visible" to salespeople yet, only the managers know what MY24 first allocations. For instance, I got 1 MY24 Targa 4 GTS, it's not visible in my system yet, but I have a report saying Im going to get it.

Was this the same in previous years as well? e.g. getting notified of MY24 allocations around March. In my mind (which could be completely wrong), I thought the next MY was always allocated at the second half of the year?

Also, wondering if the March allocations were split like "half half", or was there a normal amount of MY23's, with additional MY24's?

Do dealers get different batches of allocations? I thought when Porsche gives out 911 allocations, it gets divided up between all dealers, or is that not right? Also, is it true that there’s not going to be any GTS allocations until maybe July?

Yes, dealers get different numbers of allocations based on historical sales data. Hence, lower volume dealers get less allocations than higher volume dealers.

^^^ which is why SA's access Porsche's internal dealer network to work out trades with other dealers on behalf of customers.

I understand they get different numbers so say between 3 dealers, A gets 5 GTS allocations, B gets 3, and C gets 1. But is it possible that B might gets 0 GTS allocations even though Porsche handed out GTS allocations to some other dealers?

I’m trying to figure out if it’s true that during the last few rounds of allocations, Porsche has limited 911 allocations based on the trim. For example, they only gave GTS and no S and that was consistent for all dealers.

Several sources have stated certain dealers got more GTS and T allocations versus Base and S this past quarter. However, some dealers here in SoCal are indeed still getting some Base and S allocations. Not sure the exact science on how Porsche allocates allocations beyond historical sales numbers. 911 allocations are based on trim unlike the 718 4 cylinder models for example, which are interchangeable between Base, S, and T.

Bumping up the thread, any update regarding the second half of the March allocations? Are they visible to SAs now?

all my allocations are visible.
another allocation coming maybe by end of month, early next
