Look at it this way. MY2024 will be the last year of the 992.1 cycle, and last year is often most desired. And it will be the lowest production. Finally, with Porsche just announcing that another price increase is coming soon, current pricing may not feel bad at all soon haha!

Well.. same old question.. anyone hearing news on NEW MY24 992 allocations.. they normally appear in May as part of a quarterly distribution.. my last new car showed up with a batch this time last year.

Yes I was notified last Thursday by my SM that I had received my allocation for MY 24 T, they also had received a base 911 and some 718.

My dealer is located in central NJ Flemington Porsche.

I got an email with the subject "Congratulations! Your 911 is confirmed". Then it follows with:

Your dream car is coming true.
Dear Mr. xxxx
It’s official! Your 911 has been confirmed and production will be starting soon. Whether this is your first Porsche, or your latest Porsche, this is an exciting and incredible moment. Your dream is one step closer to reality.

Does this mean I got an allocation? I asked my dealership today but haven't received any information yet.

I think so. I checked my email history and that’s when I received that email; about 4 days after I received the allocation.

Did you get your commission number? Is TYD attached to the email?

if not you received a demand order your dealership notified Porsche that they have a buyer.

Oh sweet, hopefully I get some news from my dealer soon! When did you get your TYD and commission number? (Like the guy below mentioned)

Oh nice! Fingers crossed that I have an allocation then. It's been almost 18 months since I put down a deposit for a Carrera S!!

Did you get a TYD link or commission number yet, or does anyone know when that happens?

I got those 4 days before that email. TYD showed up on 3/4 and the email you reference came on 3/8.

Yep!! I got the allocation for C2S! I got the commission number from my SA and called the 1-800-Porsche number to get TYD set up.

Interestingly on TYD, the "01 Your purchase order has been confirmed" was on January 4th. Does anyone know what this first step means?

Lock date is June13 with delivery ETA Aug23.

Edit: Jan 4th 2022. That must have been shortly after I put in the deposit in Dec 2021
