Super nice build, I am waiting for a new allocation for a new targa as well (I currently have my 2022 Targa 4S, so I am not in a hurry) - but I have been offered a few allocations recently (as a frequent buyer from my dealer) - at MSRP.. But I have declined the last couple due to stop order on PTS (I am going with Oak Green Metallic) and also heritage like you spec'd, which is also on stop order - both unknown when they will offered again.
PS. My current 2022 Targa 4S is Jet Black, I love it - and I do like that it is a little easier to take care of - but I went full PPF, so you will be fine with standard black.
Also - just a side note. I had my 2020 992 C4S (spec'd with Matrix Lights) - of course not activated in the US. So when I spec'd the 2022 Targa 4S - I just went for PDLS. There is no sign that it will be activated soon, so once you get an allocation - if it has not been officially activated, you might want to bump down to PDLS + from matrix and save a K or so. If activated, then you are good.
But overall really strong build - almost all the options I will be spec'ing (and currently have on my current targa) minus PTS and Heritage.
The lights are a frustrating option for me. I want the black housing inside and I think the design is more closely aligned to the lights coming on the 992.2 so I think these will age better. At $2k it would be a no-brainer just for the design. At the actual price it’s a tough pill to swallow unless they activate the feature. But I’ll likely keep them just because I do think they give the front end a slightly more premium look
Yeah... he also knows that I option my cars to the gills so I'll be at ~$200k+adm in to a targa. So probably worth it to the dealer to give it to me at slightly less ADM vs somebody at higher ADM with a stripper spec. Here's the current build if anybody cares: https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PRTGECA2
- he did confirm that as of right now he can order the heritage leather again
Very similar to my build, ive owned a year
Mine is pts superior red met
Heritage pure black
Pccb
Something my sales advisor talked me into was exclusive wheels in sat plat..in person its the exact same color as the targa hoop..looks really nice
Everything I am reading says that new car prices will stay at MSRP for most and over MSRP for high demand vehicles. I guess maybe the PNA price increase will take some of the dealers ADM for the company, but not all of it. For the 911 demand will continue to exceed supply. I think the used 911 will continue to sell at a premium, prices will increase because there are no new cars available and they are still an available value compared to the new cars at the new higher price.
After a lot of calling around without much luck, I had a call back with a build slot offer for $15k. I am considering it because the SA claims it’s for a MY23 build in June and delivery for Aug. Whether those dates are accurate or not I don’t know. I was considering it because I could get Python and the Aero, which are no longer available on the T. I also figure with 23 pricing it’s only about $8-9k ADM compared to the 24 increase. Thoughts?

I'm doubting you can get the old pricing for a car that hasn't been built yet. Not to mention that a '23 will be considered last years model by the time you get it so either way you lose. Frankly I think $15K ADM is nuts for a T. I would go back to the negotiation table for another 10K off. There are a few T's coming in as dealer ordered cars not yet sold in the east coast which is a definite departure of things from the past. Partly because the T production lines were hit with the BOSE supply chain stop and that seems to be one of the most popular options people don't want to do without. It only was deprived for the T and base cars.
