Look at Penske Auto Group stock, it’s doing fantastic.
Everyone thinks because Carvana and Carmax stock are in the dumps, means high line is doing bad.

Not sure about all states but in most a deposit cannot be kept; they have to give it back.

I would be willing to pay the ADM if I was offered an allocation, I prefer to drive the car versus waiting.
I was fortunate enough to get a an allocation with out any ADM in November of 2021 from Flemington Porsche in NJ, I finally received my car in September 2022 after it was wrecked in shipment on the first go round in April of 2022 the ship hit rough seas.

Haven't really followed the market that closely but are dealers asking/getting ADM like in socal giving better values for trades too? Or not really, im going to take it from both ends? Not sure if I should even bother starting to contact dealers or not but if I get a stronger trade then I'd consider paying an ADM.

Dealer just sent me a followup text weeks later, but still refuses to cut out/bring down the ADM.
Also, I contacted a few other nearish dealerships. One said they charge $15,000 ADM for a base! I didn't even respond when he said that, that's absolutely unheard of.
Another dealership further away charges MSRP, however they have 12 people on the wait list, and he said a good estimation of when I'd recieve the car is 1-1.5 years...
So really, like everyone's been saying, it comes down to if I'm willing to pay $5000 more to have it sooner rather than later.

Alternatively, you may be able to find a unit on the ground that someone bailed on and get lucky at MSRP. But then you are not getting the car exactly to your liking. If it's close enough or you aren't super picky, that might work out. I've seen an S cab and a GTS in stock at MSRP recently, I believe both were orders that got bailed on.

Im willing to bet the MSRP bump from 2023 to 2024 will be at or above $5k. I'd personally just take it, spec the car to your liking, and start the countdown to enjoyment.

All,
I been searching for new GTS for the past 12 months. No luck and is told wait time is 24 months. Crazy.
Went to look at used 2022 GTS 7k miles. Dealer selling for $200k. Said it is about 40k above msrp. Is that still the norm to charge such high price on used car?
they offer me two options on two upcoming allocations. $25k ADM for 911 4S and $50k ADM for Turbo S. Both cars will arrived 4/2023.
where can a guy find a car at just msrp these days???? TIA

ADM seems impossible to avoid rn in West Coast but gotta bit the bullet if you can. I def cannot wait like a year or two. Life’s way too short.

As much as I love high selling prices on the GTS, $40k over MSRP even on a brand new car is high, even for spring of 2022. Highest I’ve ever witnessed on this forum is $229k for a $176k MSRP GTS coupe. Car was bought to flip, and it went to Grand Prix Motors with delivery miles.
I looked last week, and there’s around 14 used GTS coupes from $170k to $200k.
