^ Probably not good to discuss this here, as all of the self-righteous “how dare you drive this car fast on public roads!” types will come out of the woodwork.

911s are meant to be polished, washed, and driven slowly to the golf course once per month, after all

track speeds are fine, or autobahn speeds i could ask elsewhere, but where

Cant believe these crazy goons bust out some chemicals/waste water to clean their car every time it gets dirty... I still have no idea what the car show allure is, nor am I going to bother going to any of thesw parking lot gatherings but to each their own I guess
Spoiler

Can you explain what the speedo measurement being off during your run means? I dont know enough about how that works but I assume its showing one speed and youre traveling at another?

mine were with the cars speedo, not sure if it was a an off measurement or anything

I think it was 125mph. GT Silver C2S. Car was stable, smooth, wanted to go faster, no wind noise, such a sweet engine sound, Was still pulling like a train. The reason we got these cars!!

I could be mistaken but I've always heard that the faster you go, the more incorrect your speedometer is – reading higher than actual – because it's based on a wheel speed measurement at stationary tire diameters. as you speed up, your tire stretches from centripetal forces (or centrifugal? I can never remember which is which), leading to exaggerated measurements.

That reason may be inaccurate but this is borne out in my experience, because my Dragy app doesn't indicate 60mph until my car speedo indicates ~63.

263km as indicated on the German autobahn. Didn't want to go too much further since it was still under break-in period. It was too easy. It felt like going 100mph in a "normal" car.

250 kph (155 mph) on track...accelerating is great until you have to brake but this car is more stable than anything i have driven.

Mine was about 154 mph

I regularly hit 140 in my 992 and have gotten my R8 to about 146

Both cars feel smooth as ice cream (and were LOUD) at those speeds. Great cars

Please note that all speeds were achieved on racetracks, not public backroads or near any farmland

Thanks that helps a lot, must be similar to speed traps flashing a lower speed than the speedo sometimes

I would have been running really high PSIs and ran at night with little warmup, probably 42/48 cold and 46-48/50-52 hot - im not sure how that would affect this

124-126 mph on Autobahn. Could go faster but traffic!! This was Day 7 after picking it up, so still during the break-in period. Stable and not loud at all. It does drink gas like a thirsty horse at these speeds, though it saved me 15 mins on my 2 hr drive!

thats super fast! How did the car feel at that speed? Sometimes I wish for more downforce but thats usually because lateral winds can be annoying to deal with in, I think eventually I'll see what the fastest my car can go is (supposedly 190) but probably after next service, going to change all 4 tires to cup 2s or something if i can (tires dont count for not stock, in my head canon)

conditions were perfect, I felt comfortable, car felt comfortable I honestly would of kept going but bugs were splattering all over my windshield and vision was my concern as the wiper blades just smeared them all over.

now again having to brake hard at that speed for traffic or something would of been uncomfortable.

it’s been tuned hence over the factory limit.

do I do that daily.. NO! It was a one time thing
