I’ve driven car probably five times since getting rear section on and it gets better every drive. Oh and a nice bonus surprise is I’m getting 0 drone. This is the first time I have ever put an aftermarket exhaust on a car and didn’t get some drone somewhere in power band. Usually around 3k. So I’m obviously very happy about that. I havent heard the SS version of the exhaust but I suspect folks are getting similar results from those. Great job by Kline research. Happy customer here.
Glad you like it! Can you share a video? How do you feel the sound compares to the video they produced?

Zach,

I was talking with friend yesterday who has a GoPro with all the needed attachments to get a proper audio near back of car and we might be able to use a drone I have to create video so hopefully we can get it going soon.. It won’t be done right away though.

As far as comparisons To the Kline Video mine is still a tab bit deeper/throatier lower in power band as mine has stock Porsche Headers and SS Soul cats. Only time will tell but I’m guessing to get the sound exactly like their video you would need Kline Iconel headers, And the iconel rear section. I’m very happy with the sound of mine I would describe it as a mix between the kline video and maybe some of the better sounding throatier exhaust like maybe Akranovic.. I haven’t had it wide open for more than 5-10 seconds yet so my impressions may change. Its a huge improvement over PSE with Soul cats though no doubt.

Sounds like a fun endeavor for a decent quality video!

According to the comments the promo video has stock headers, just cats and the muffler section in inconel.

Someone on here has the Kline system in SS, I'll have to poke around to find his name.

Yes I’m thinking same thing on the video.. I have some ideas just need to figure out how to pull it off….

I’ve been told the sound will change up to 1000 miles during rear section break in. At this point it’s a little deeper down low than the video seems but its
great I’m not complaining but can’t say it sounds just like Kline video either. maybe the iconel makes a huge difference on cats as well.? Idk..

The guy that posted on this thread with the Kline SS rear section is 911gr8tness

Just stumbled upon this post. I totally get the subject here. I just traded in my 2022 992s for a 2022 718 Spyder. Loved the 992 but after a while I didn't really look forward to driving it all that much. The Spyder, on the other hand, I can't wait to drive. I guess I didn't realize how much I missed the feel and sound of a naturally aspirated engine, and the 4.0 in the Spyder is awesome. I also helps that IMHO the Spyder looks more "special". I will miss the 992 but not regretting getting into a Spyder at all.

I test drove a 992 GTS Cab on Monday and it was the furthest thing from boring I've ever driven, even with the drive being mostly in Tokyo morning traffic. On the highway it absolutely ripped and was so much louder and angrier than the base and S I drove previously.

Boring or not, the 992 is a work of art compared to the 996.

100% this. Having driven many 911s and really enjoyed them (especially the 991), the last mid engined 4.0L manual transmission Porsche cars are really where it's at. My Cayman GTS 4.0 is much more engaging driving experience, without a doubt. After more than a year, it still gives me chills and big goofy grin running through the gears! Hope you enjoy that 718 Spyder!!

There is no question the Carrera is a refined car. Nothing wrong with that; GT3s exist for a reason.

I’ve found my sweet spot for “not at all boring 911”. This car is so full of win. It’s fast enough to keep up with the average minivan (something not all old 911’s can do), yet useable enough on public roads to make it feel like you are going faster than you are, thereby avoiding get to jail speeds. And while the modern Porsches have awesome engine noise at certain rpms, such as when accelerating up in the rev range, this jewel serenades me at 3k rpm on a highway trip home. I know I’m sounding like an air cooled snob, but don’t mean to be. I love newer Porsches also.

For that matter, I could never get into the Boxster/Cayman “aesthetics” either.
