For those who have bought europipe stuff, what kind of shipping costs did you incur bringing it to the US?

I thought I'd update this thread with up to date info. Once the cold weather came around, my car with the Europipe cats did throw a CEL. I cleared it with my icarsoft, and it came back in a few days.

Reached out to Stef, and he sent a replacement version after some further development which resolved the issue, and it hasn't come back since. He also covered the re-installation cost. Took a bit of work, but it was well worth it in the end.

I can now recommend these without any hesitation.

Thanks for this update, this interests me now. Could you describe the changes after sport cats? Sound, drive, power etc. Since you have a GTS as well.

I can barely tell a difference in sound higher in the rev range, and the measurements back that up.

Cold Start Peak
Stock: 62dB
Europipe: 65dB

Cold Start Procedure
Stock: 57dB
Europipe: 60dB

Europipe: 53dB / 78dB

Stationary Rev Limit (Inside/Outside)
Stock: 68dB / 97dB
Europipe: 69dB / 102dB
I wonder how much difference there would be between stock and sport cat with a valve controller to keep the valves fully open.

My initial report about the changes is here -- https://rennlist.com/forums/992/1309...l#post18324609

Stef provides a follow up earlier in this thread showing the gains down low with dyno charts which support the seat of pants feel difference.

Just curious, sounds like the replacement set is different than what was originally ordered. Any idea what was different about this version?

Not sure. Maybe Stef can explain. There were def some design changes to avoid the CEL.

How are the replacement set of cats doing? Any CEL's? How many miles do you have on the new set? Stef just responded to a post I have going saying he can't offer a proper solution for the 21-23 US models if we don’t have a tune. Do you have a tune? I didn't think so reading through the thread. And you just did the sport cats correct? Not his exhaust?

Just purchased and installed the Europipe sport cats for my 2021 992 4S. Couldn't be happier. I had it installed at Porsche, and the tech was ecstatic with the quality and fitment (explained he had prior bad experience with other exhaust/linkpipe manufactures who I will not name).

Happy to report that there was no CEL after installation. Even after spirited driving (removed tune before installation). I know this isn't a guarantee for year 2021+ and may pop up eventually, but this was a risk I was willing to take, so I was very happy with the results.

You can feel the turbo spools much faster in the lower RPM range. Specifically between 2k-3.5k RPMs where the car felt a bit sluggish before. So while the overall TQ/HP gains are minimal, I'd argue this makes a very noticeable difference driving (this is not the placebo effect, the Porsche technician also noticed the same when taking for a test run).

As far as sound: I love it. More turbo and generally what i would guess is about 15-20% more volume. I like the sound/tone so much I'm pretty set on keeping the PSE rather than swap for an aftermarket muffler.

Last but not least, Stef was AMAZING throughout the entire process. Not only was responsive, but also very knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions before purchasing. And I could not believe how fast these arrived at my door. Literally just 2 days after placing my order!

Hope this helps anyone leaning on the fence. Only regret is not doing it sooner!

If only we could have an honor system with a traveling set of sport cats where we could try them out for two weeks and then send them off to the next guy to see if it's something we really like.
