Europipe Sport Cats
Finally available by popular demand the Europipe sport cats for the 992 Carrera. We use large size 100 cell cats that don’t cause a CEL on any of the non-OPF equipped Carreras.
We have the cats made to our specs with a proprietary coating and a high amount of precious metals. It’s a bolt-on upgrade, nothing on the car has to be altered.
Build from 316L stainless steel with integrated heat shields.
Upgrade your Carrera with our Europipe sport cats and enjoy the improved sound and the overall better performance!
Cheers, Stef

100 cell with no CEL would be impressive; Soul Sports are 200 cell.

Normally the 100 cell cats are used for racing purpose only. The Cup cars use them and so does the 991 GT2 RS Clubsport. Emission results aren’t really important on these car, actually they don’t even have an O2 sensor so no CELs either. You won’t get really good emission results with regular off the shelf 100 cell cats.
We use Vitesco-Continental 100 cell cat cores with a proprietary coating. It’s expensive but we’ve been doing this succesfully for nearly 30 years now. Catalytic convertors are defined by their size, cell count, foil shape, washcoat and its amount of precious metals. The washcoat is a porous primer that multiplies the surface area of the cats by factor 100 to 10000 depending on the type of washcoat the $$$ you want to spend. There are several companies that apply the washcoat / precious metals onto cat cores. There’s Corning, Degussa, Johnson-Matthey, Umicore etc.
Umicore is one of the largest companies and is located in Hoboken just 5 minutes from our shop.
We’ve never used 200 cell cats really. The older 996 Turbo, 996 GT3, 993 Turbo etc all use 300 cell cats so I’ve always skipped the 200 cell cats and went straight to the 100 cell ones.
We offer a 4 year warranty on our exhausts and on the cats, on any issues or CELs.
Here’s the emission results of the stock exhaust, our 100 cell Europipe cats and a catless setup all measured at idle and near 2500 rpm.
The CO and HC are poisonous.

no CEL errors has this been confirmed on the recent 2022 models that supposedly has higher tolerance emissions ?

We use the same cats on our full exhaust on the recent 2022 models and no issues.

I don't think this question was answered so will ask it again. So if installation does cause a CEL what will be your position and response for any corrective action? Of most concern with the community are the 992 variants that have a tighter emissions tolerance.

In that case we’d offer a money back guarantee. In general we offer a 4 year warranty on everything about our exhausts.

Our 992 Europipe sport exhaust is a non valved exhaust but you have to reinstall the electric motors that control the valves. No tune or other mods needed.
Sounds great from idle to redline - without any valves that mute the sound between 2000 and 4000 rpm. No drone either which is rare on non valved 992 exhausts.
