So I said I wouldn't obsessively check but I couldn't help myself...looks like it's anchored in Everingen for some reason. Marine Traffic shows that there's a large refinery there...maybe this is a refueling stop before heading across the Atlantic???

I think you're right. There is a tanker parked alongside now.

Well, after what felt like the longest refueling pitstop in the world, the Sun is on the move again, heading to Santa Marta. We're back in business!

And I thought you weren't going to compulsively check! I'm afraid that I am guilty of doing the same. Doesn't help that Marine Tracker sends me alerts on every move!

For anyone with a car on the Glovis Summit, the ship just departed San Diego and is on it's way to Benicia. It looks like it will arrive in Benicia 6/26, a little earlier than the schedule shows:

As noted earlier, this West Coast-only schedule is available here: https://www.stenaglovis.com/customer-centre/schedules/
It doesn't update very often; maybe every two weeks, but the dates are generally pretty close, and it gives a little more detail than the PWL schedule.

My vehicle is on the Summit as well. I see it just left San Diego and looks like it's scheduled to dock in Benicia tomorrow night? My SA told me to expect delivery to Fresno Porsche on July 15th, but looks like it could be earlier than that? I don't know how long it takes to unload etc. I did a European delivery in 2016 and everything took longer than expected. Ugh!

Yeah, arrival in Benicia tomorrow evening looks likely. From there it depends how long they keep the cars in port. That could be as long as a week, or sometimes more. I'm hoping for a faster turnaround. It's probably likely you will see the car before the 15th.

Interesting... For those of you on the Glovis Sun, the Hyundai Glovis schedule has arrival at Benicia on 7/24 while the PWL has the ship arriving on 7/16.

Per the Glovis schedule, the Sun makes an extra stop in Manta, Equador, I think. That's a bit of a detour and could account for at least some of the extra time. Entering the Panama Canal is a bit of a wild card, as I have heard of extra delays there as well. The Summit entered the canal with minimal delay, and will have taken 10 days to reach Benicia from the time it exited the canal. Here's the Summit approaching the Pacific locks from one of the canal webcams:

I've been impulsively tracking Glovis Summit's every move like others here My Taycan GTS is on it. TYD still says the car is on the boat with a July 15th delivery date, which is clearly outdated at this point. Anyone's TYD show Port Processing at Benicia yet? Dealership is only 40 miles from Benicia so I hope it gets there in the next few days!

My sales person said it's usually about a week to make it through customs and another to make it to the Dealership. At least that has been par for the course lately.
He's checking this week on any new updates.

If he has anything juicy I'll share it!

where is our ship right now? Hopefully it is tailing the storm as the storm heads west across Costa Rica and Nicaragua. I assume the captain knows what’s he/she is doing. I mean they’re professionals no?
