My car arrived at the dealer yesterday. It was stuck in the port for a week! They are shipping it to me this monday. Cheers everyone.

 

Anyone have any updates on the next ship to Benecia? I’m still stuck at Emden since 5/15 and missed the Glovis Summit which left 6/1. The next ship appears to be the Glovis Captain due to dock at Emden on 6/17 but my TYD says I’m supposed to be loaded on a vessel 6/10 which was yesterday so go figure…

 

Mine arrived Emden on 5/10, and was originally scheduled to depart on 5/20. Evidently didn’t make the boat and TYD updated to 6/10. So like you, mine still says 6/10 departure. Makin’ me sad.

I think it changed from Glovis Captain to Glovis Sun recently. Still arriving to Emden on 6/17.

Got it! Thank you. Yes it looks like different ship, same ETA. I looked up the Sun and she’s off the coast of Morocco and heading to Emden. My dealer coincidently texted me today to say my car was set to be shipped in a week or two. I asked him how much for overnight delivery…he joked $20k. Considering I’m paying just MSRP, the $20k for overnighting the car is intriguing considering what ADMs are going for these days.

 

Looks like the Glovis Sun just changed destination from Emden to Bremerhaven. Will my car ever get a ride?

 

Frustrating... Maybe they just reversed the stopping order in which case we might gain time.

 

That would be good. However, I can't find that ship in the Emden expected arrivals list anymore (at least through 7/7)

 

That is not very accurate from what I see - for example "CEPHEUS LEADER" will stop in Emden as well based on this and it's not listed either.
