I missed the Glovis Sun by 2 days so looks like its a bit of a wait for the Glovis Sunlight sailing July 23 and arriving August 22. MT TYD app still shows delivery on Aug 5th but I don't see another ship hitting the West Coast until the Sunlight. I hate waiting so long but what's another month in the journey

 

Glovis Sun left Colombia and is headed towards the Panama canal. Let's hope it keeps on schedule. 🤞

 

It looks like it’s a bit ahead of schedule. According to the Glovis Stena published schedule it wasn’t supposed to get to Santa Marta until 7/5. Hopefully it continues that way!

 

I'm a bit confused as TyD has my car getting on a ship bound for Benecia quite soon (if not over the last weekend). Based on the schedules, I can't see how that would happen for 2-3 weeks. Is TyD that disconnected from the shipping schedules or is there more than meets the eye?

 

Unfortunately, TYD was not accurate on my car's shipping date, and I think others experienced the same.

 

I think we both have cars coming to Porsche Beaverton as well.

My car finished production 5/12 and was at the port by 5/15 and had a projected ship date of 5/28. I had hoped it would make the next ship (Glovis Summit) but when that ship came and went without my car, TYD updated the next ship date to 6/10 - which made no sense since there didn't appear to be any ships to the west coast around that time. When the Glovis Sun docked, TYD updated as shown below to 6/20. So yes, TYD is somewhat disconnected from timeline events in the future but does a pretty good job of predicting past events! From what others seem to be reporting, 2-4 week delay at Emden seems to be the norm.

Now if the Sun would just get its a** through the Panama Canal and get on with it!!!!

 

PTS Spyder. They have a Taycan Cross Turismo that they can't deliver to me due to software as well.

 

I have a Taycan RWD on that also which still shows Port Processing. My SA says it hasn't be cleared for shipping yet from the port. Did yours make the truck yet ?
