After gong thru Panama Canal, why is it sailing south again back to Colombia? It’s next port is Buenaventura in Colombia. The ship was just at Santa Maria in Colombia before the Canal. There is no way they are delivering customers vehicles there. Did the ship encounter mechanical issues? The plan was to go to Benicia directly I thought.

Is it possible that they indeed deliver vehicles at both ports? Just like the two stops in California - Benicia and San Diego. Either way, as far as I recall, Benicia wasn't the immediate next stop after the canal in its original plan, as there was at least a stop at San Diego and another at Mexico before arriving at Benicia. Not sure if Buenaventura was newly added to the plan, but the good thing is that the estimated arrival at Benicia is still in late May, no more than one month after leaving Emden.
@undersky2 The ship my car came in in February made the same two stops in Columbia, then Mexico, San Diego and Benicia. The second stop in Columbia and the Mexico stop weren’t on the original schedule.
Port of San Diego schedule says it will arrive at 4:30am and depart for Benicia at 4pm. Can’t wait until it arrives in Benicia, so I can stop refreshing these ship tracking sites.
By accident to be honest. I was wondering why it was floating off the coast, so while researching stumbled across the schedule. Now off to find a schedule for Benicia. If it falls on a weekend, it might be ‘fun’ to watch the ship pull up to the loading docks. What part of the Bay Area will you be taking delivery? I’m in the East Bay.
Waiting just like you guys, hopefully it comes to Benicia tomorrow. Anyone know how long it takes to go from port to dealership and got dealership to allow us to pick it up. I’m trying to pick it up next week Wednesday

the other thread says it takes several weeks for cars to get out of the port. Something to do with software update. Doesn’t make sense cuz I am fine driving it with old software and just do update in my next dealer visit… just give me my car now. I will go pick up from the ship in San Diego. Thank you.
