I'll take the launch color!
Keep the buckets, may add more leather, will keep Scorpions for sure.
Really easy.

I just optioned one out the way I would want it…266k lol. Who is this car really for? I’m trying to wrap my head around this. Maybe if it had the turbo motor or the GT3 motor to make it more special.

For Canadians & folks from Colorado to drive in February - pretty good use case.

I think a GT3 motor would be problematic - you’re not going 9k RPM off road and those engines are a little touchy for off road use.

Tough, torquey motor with linear throttle and optimal thermal management - the GTS engine actually sounds like a good fit.

100%, this needs a torquey motor & the GTS motor is just better than the Turbo's per Henry at the 10 minute mark -

To be fair the Sport Classic has a detuned motor with a manual - totally different car than a Turbo S.

That said, yes — a big boost, bigger lag, high inertia, hotter running motor is probably not ideal for off road use.

I am really struggling with the choice of color ... first world kind of problem ...

The Rally Design Package is tempting, but I see it more for the collector (there will be a number of zero km units in this color scheme down the line) and would detract from everyday usability: attracts too much attention. Besides the fact that the cost is out of this world.

I do not like black cars and the only standard color I may go for is the white, which is both usable and kind of racing inspired. I had a Grand Prix White 930 and it was working nicely with all the black parts.

The PTS are pricey but still marginally short of a silly level.

Tempted by some classy color that blends in the black accents, like Oak Green Metallic ... but not sure if it is too restrained for such car.

Problems, problems ...

I think a light color suits the car because it emphasizes all the details, but this is a matter of taste.

Just out of curiosity, which Porsche Center did you get yours from? I didn’t play the Safari game as I wasn’t tempted, though I’m starting to have serious regret I chose to save up for an ST or a speedster, in case Porsche decides to develop a 992 variant

I actually prefer white between these two - it feels a little more rally inspired. Oak Green Metallic is a very pretty color (I had a car in this) but it's a more luxurious color than it is sporty.

I really don't understand the price here. Crazy.
Don't see why this is not a little over a regular Carrera. And I would say that for off-road you don't need the higher HP engine of the Carrera S.
Make a low power version, reduce the price and this will sell.
@ 220k plus, sorry, it is a big no.

I like the Dark Olive, perfect for this car!

Thank you for expressing your view.

I got the allocation from Porsche Center Lugano.

Not a big client, but I am quite active in the local Porsche Club and did a concourse restoration of one of my old 930s with them ... so I guess it counts for something.

This seems more like a collector car. That plus a PR car for Porsche. Can't see many who will pay 200K+ for a car and then want to beat it up off road. Porsche is great at making these special edition cars, slapping on a big price tag, and selling all of them they make. Kudos to them and congrats to the eventual buyers. I could buy one if I really wanted to have it, but MUCH prefer my 911 road only, my Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro, and my KTM 890r Adventure motorcycle. Much less of a problem if I scratch up my 4Runner off road. It's a pricey 4Runner but it's all relative. Maybe someone will show up on Youtube and really off road this new 911. Can't wait to see it

I'm sure Chris Harris will do his sliddy bit on a dirt track - at least he should!
