Didn't you correct yourself in a previous post that this was actually a GT3 and not a GTS?

if anyone thinks they “need” a 911, their values are misplaced. We all want to spend insane amounts of money for a luxury good that has an agreeable growl when you step on the gas.

But that does not define the greater market. Everyone else voting with their wallet does.
chance6 MV you got it. This MV is actually the most realistic and reasonable. Exceed that MV and you’re on your own.

$100k ADM on a GTS IS a complete reaming.

I bet it doesn't have a happy ending to most, that doesn't mean it will stop happening today/tomorrow or next week. I'm a GT car rookie, so the ADM I paid I considered to be the price of admission, and global shortage circumstances played a role in my decision as well. That said, you can bet your bottom dollar I'm not paying cash ADM again when I order the next gen car, so I get the train of thought of most on this thread, but to think that you're going to get a specialty car at zero ADM or at a discount from msrp in today's day and age is just not realistic unless you have a long standing relationship with your dealer, prior non specialty car purchase or something interesting to offer on trade. That simple.

Yes I did, this is the problem when you try to do too many things at once

OK so is it a GTS or GT3 the owner that had it on consignment banked a cool Big Ben after dealer fees and cut?

New to the thread, trying to catch up.

Is the general consensus that all 992 variants are charging an ADM to order, or for something currently at the dealer (if that even exists)?

If i were to have a new C4S offered to me at MSRP, is that a good deal or are many people getting allocations at MSRP these days?

I am coming over from the 718 side where my 4RS has a hefty ADM, so it's all i currently know.

If you are getting offered a 911 4S allocation at msrp take it right away. The days of discount are far removed. MSRP nowadays is considered a good deal.

Well, if you’re comfortable paying $100k ADM only to see massive depreciation as the US economy goes into a massive slowdown/recession thats your business. I will not pay an ADM for a run of the mill 911.

There are no references to paying $100K ADM for run of the mill 911s on my post. I wouldn't pay it either.

So $100K ADM for driving out of the dealer with whatever upgraded variant of a 911, whether GTS, Targa 50, GT3, GT3T etc. should not move anyone's eyebrows in this short supply/high demand and manufacturing delayed market.”

GTS? Run off the mill. IMO

I see. It's OK to disagree on this one. Going rate in my neck of the woods for a GTS is $50K over sticker. I wouldn't pay that either. My point is that based on what we have seen transpire in the last 2 years, none of us should be surprised at the ADM being asked/paid and the overall trading prices for these cars.

Yes agree to disagree. BTW I can get a slot for a GTS +25K here in NJ. More than one dealer.

The topic of ADM is a dead horse at this point. I just dont understand peoples need to say they wont pay any ADM. The market is the market. If someone wants a specific car now that in todays market is selling at a premium, they pay that premium to drive that car today. If they dont want to or cant pay ADM, then they wait and watch/read about others' experiences. Maybe they wait half a year or maybe longer. Manufacturers are raising their prices, so in a couple years these cars will be around 10k above current base prices anyways.
