A few notes

• SPASM is the default, PASM is now the option.
• If you don't want center locks, Carrera S and RS Spyder Design wheels are zero cost options. You're limited to three wheels right now.
• When I spec a GTS 4 like my current C4S, the price comes in $13k higher -- not terrible for 30 more HP with a warranty and even bigger brakes. If I was buying the car now, I would go for the GTS, but given that I already a C4S, my next step is a TT/TTS.
• If you're going with performance options on a Carrera S/4S, the GTS is relatively speaking, a banging deal -- nothing new here. By comparison, the Turbo is about $40k more with the same options as my C4S, because options like PSE aren't included.

Identical options to my 2021 $162,400 C2S cab is $176,400. $14k more for power bump, black lights, wheels, and sport design. The turbo brakes are nice though.

Yes, if you were getting the Sport Design package anyway, the numbers are even closer.

I had a very well equipped C2S Cab on order seven years ago when the 991 GTS was introduced. I immediately flipped my order to the GTS which priced out slightly less but added 30 hp and CL wheels. When I compare it to the C2S that I would order today, the 992 GTS is about $4k more. My current C2S order would not include PSE, so if you add that plus the hp and the CLs, it's still well priced, but not quite the bargain it was last time around.

I have a C2S ordered with delivery planned in October. I did a quick configuration close to the one I am planning and the difference was about 10K. Not bad at all but I don't want to wait even longer, as I had traded my 911.2 already. Choices, choices...

Considering the ADM (additional dealer mark-up) that will come with the GTS and the additional wait, I would stick with your C2S order.

Configured a GTS against the same specs as my C2S which arrived home on Friday and price came in at $156k v $139k for all the same specs. My C2S has SPASM and PSE which I did not have to add. And my C2S has Classics, so for a silver wheel I would have to go with the base wheel on the GTS which is a step down from what I have.

GB Metallic, Leather in Black w/ Chalk Stitching, Chalk Seat Centers, 18 way seats, 7 MT, Tailpipes in Silver, Extended Tank, RAS, Ambient Lighting, Ventilated Seats, Chrono and Tach in White, 930 Leather, 930 Leather, Illuminated Door Sills, Bose.

The extra $17k and wait and potential ADM would not be worth it for the GTSness.

Just played with the configurator. I ended up at $143K if I stuck with standard leather seats (7 speed car). $147K if I went with Bordeaux Red with Chalk Stitching interior. My comparable C2s Build with Bordeaux Red (7 speed) is $135K so a $12K difference. The difference in price is larger than I thought. I expected rear wheel steer to be included in the GTS too. I think shortage for next 12 months is possible that will keep ADM in play. Paying ADM is like going to the gentlemens club, instant gratification but you always wake up with major regret the next morning.

Hey, where is the lightweight option that includes lwbs and ras? I can choose those options separately but not in a package like with the tts

I configured my $165,000 C4S against the nearest 4GTS. Could not see Sports Tex available. Also could not select steering column leather and 18 ways together. No Palladio but that was expected. With those deficits, it came to $176,630. In my case, it would have been more compelling to go for a slightly less well speced Turbo.

I re-configured my $159,100 MSRP 2021 C2S as close as possible to a 2022 GTS. I'm coming up with an MSRP of $154,330 (PNZA7768). Basically I'd get 30 more HP, loose some sound deadening and I'd get a rear facia I don't care for as much. So it'd be doable. The "REAL" problem (for me) is that I'd not be able to stay with just mirroring my 2021 C2S. As a result my MSRP would jump to $171,070.00 due primarily (although not exclusively) to the Interior change and adding PCCB. (PNKN7TC5)
