"You have it right. You send it to us and then we will reach out to PAG to unlock the configuration. Then we’ll make those changes for you and let you know when it’s done. If you don’t want to go through the trouble of creating a new Porsche code you can just let us know the options you’d like to add/remove. Ideally that kind of thing only happens once or twice between now and when the car reaches its change freeze point though. PAG can get a little feisty about frequently unlocking and locking Custom Color orders."

My situation is the same. The freeze date for my Dolomite Silver Targa 4 is tomorrow (July 2). The delivery date is 10/24 at PEC-LA. The August vacation recess pushes it back at least three weeks. But TYD also notes a 3-week time frame from arrival at the Emden port to when it gets on a boat. I wonder if that's accurate.

@rk-d Since you had me worried I emailed my SA. He shared the following excerpt from his emails with his "Order Management Specialist with Porsche NA" regarding changes after PTS color lock, but before freeze point:
PCNA/PAG refused to re-open my build when I was considering a configuration change (nothing big and I've since decided that I don't really want to make that change). It went up the ladder from the regional rep to PAG and they declined to open it up. Supposedly the color lock date is not the same as the build lock date which is in September, but from a practical standpoint - it's one and the same (for me at least). When you get in these custom color builds, it starts getting weird and inconsistent (and probably political). So I think the bottom line - make damn sure you like your configuration as it is now.

I have an allocation that I am told is an early November delivery. I see on here that some others have a late October delivery and their freeze date is now. AND, they have access to their TYD. I have seen my build sheet and it is Status of V200. SO, when will I get my TYD? Is there anything I need to do?

[QUOTE=laurenxesq;17540951]Hi there. My freeze date is a few days later than your's, and my delivery date is 10/29. Perhaps both our cars will be on the same vessel (I am also in Socal, thus a Trojan).
Cheers.

My shipping date just got adjusted today. Delivery is now showing 10/17. I've asked my S.A. to run an internal check to see what he sees. I agree our rides will be on the same boat!
Cheers.

Hello there.
Anyone out there able to Order a 2022 night blue metallic Carrera S? if so on what date?
I have been trying to get an allocation here in Austin/San Antonio area. San Antonio says 3 people in front of me. Austin says deposit to get in line for an allocation, an no more night blue.
Anyway I hear night blue is being phased out, I am looking for sign that night blue will still be available if i can secure an allocation by labor day.
Appreciate the feedback.

I have a Night Blue Metallic 2022 Targa 4S on order. Production completion 10/8 and I pick it up at the Zuffenhausen factory on 10/26. Night Blue ends production at the end of November.

PAG is feisty is the take home message here 😁

I'm also in SoCal (Pasadena). I ordered my car in April when I lived in PA and am taking delivery at the LA PEC. My lock date is 7/23, but production doesn't start until 8/27. I assume that's because of the August holiday. Delivery is scheduled for 10/31, so we might be on the same boat.
Cheers.

That's great news; congrats! I just checked mine; remained the same 10/29/2021 :-( perhaps not the same vessel.

I've been waiting for a C2S allocation in San Antonio since May. Stopped by the dealership today and SA told me he expects some slots from P on Friday for production beginning in November, I believe. I don't know about Night Blue metallic, but it sounds like you may be on the bubble. Surprising that they would cancel that color as they have carried it for so many years.
This will be my sixth 911 and all were custom orders. For this car I want PTS Irish Green. SA said PTS will take longer which I expect and don't mind. I'd rather not pay the extra 11K for PTS but I don't mind waiting to get what I want. My build code is PNTNQH92.
I'm number two on the list according to my SA and he told me a couple of weeks ago that he now had 10 people with configurations behind me. Interestingly, he said that he had an allocation for a base C2 a few weeks ago that went unfilled for several weeks. Most customers want an S, at least in our area.
