I wonder how many spec'd their car with a rear Windshield Wiper ?

For my driving, the rear wiper an essential option for coping with winter in the north. When speed is unavailable snow accumulates on the rear window faster than the defroster melts. Had it on a previous Cayman build. Sadly, no washer jet in the rear or mini wiper for the rear camera.

Unless it is new for MY22 it does not have a washer jet. I have a MY21 and no jet.

I ordered my car with a rear wiper; I like the look, think it gives it a classic look. I disagree that it will make the car worth less / harder to sell (doesn't add any value either) and if I should be selling the car myself and if that is going to stop them from buying the car then as far as I am concerned, they can take a hike.

I have a 992 C4S with a rear wiper. Funnily enough when I took it in for a minor service the agent exclaimed, “Oh, you have a rear wiper”! He seemed quite excited. I have never used it :-) Also, it doesn’t have a wash jet function.

Yep for those who only drive on nice sunny days... I still think that not having a washer on it is stupid.

While I've never had one on any of my former 911's, Ive always respected the rear wiper. I dig it! There where a couple times I do remember thinking I wish I had one. Not many (socal). But a few times!

I’ve been over at bimmerpost bitching about my BMW m3 xdrive order I placed in August when I sold my 992. It STILL hasn’t even been built!
I literally just found one a couple days ago on a dealer lot and took it. I’ve been driving a 2012 Nissan Cube all this time. lol!
So I’ve been over their bitching and whining with all the others who had custom orders delayed.
Hope all is well with you and yours.

Rear wiper is helpful no doubt. But I don’t need it. Only my 964 has a rear wiper and I’ve never used it. Trying to rid of it actually. I’ve never found it necessary on a 911. The car’s shape and a bit of speed helps keep rear screen clean.
