Either your butt dyno needs to be recalibrated or the tune didn't get coded properly...or maybe you are just driving at low to moderate speeds and not pushing the car?
A 20%+ increase in power and torque should be impossible to NOT notice when opening it up. Tune reviews of the 991.2 that added 80-125hp almost always resulted in "OMG, holy shi^, this thing is SO much faster" type reviews. If you are not pushing the car to at least 6 or 7 tenths then you are probably not going to notice a huge difference...and that is not necessarily a bad thing. A sign of a quality tune is that it feels OEM and factory-like in normal day to day driving situations.

The 80-125 additional HP will show its teeth as the rpm climbs into the upper ranges for sure.
100 additional ft lbs of torque will be felt to a profound degree in the 2500-5000 rpm range and will greatly increase the fun to drive factor.
Analysis paralysis my man. I'll give you a dollar if you can find one documented blown 911 3.0TT engine from tuning. I dug through these forums extensively, as well P***** boost and have yet to find one. People tend to vent on forums a lot more than gloat so logic dictates if there were problems you would here about them. There are some stock internal 991.2 3.0TTs putting down 700whp and still running strong. Your PCM is likely to crash and burn long before your engine LOL
Do you know what engine has multiple blown/failure threads on though? GT3/RS engines...
Met a guy with a 1000 whp 991.2 TT with 14000 miles of street/drag racing. No issues.

It was never my intent to use my Porsche as a road hog. I like the extra performance, yes. But as far as roaring around, or even taking it to the track, it was never my intent.
Yes, I'm in this camp also. Will never run my car on the track and am just looking for a bump in the seat of the pants(SOTP) feel which is torque. I'm not really concerned with a maximum HP increase at the redline nor am I looking for a "dyno sheet" with bragging rights, nothing wrong with any of that, just not for me.
An 80 or 90 ft. lb. torque increase through the rpm range where the car is most often driven is in reality what most of us will value and enjoy on a daily basis.
Piggy backs like the JB4 can do this very simply as well as provide logging and monitors afr, timing, throttle position, and many more for an added level of safety.
Did you send in your ECU? How long was the turn around?
It was done at an authorized dealer (Above and Beyond Performance, West Palm Beach). They did the tune remotely in the same day. I have to be the first tuned 992 Targa in the US and they were happy about that.
Drove it more today. Much faster than stock...absolutely worth the 3k. The butt dyno is telling me its very similar to my 992 TTS. TTS may launch harder but overall I think its close.
Slow rolling start (5 mph) against friends Model 3 Performance, I was probably at 95% throttle and easily pulling away at 75 mph before I bailed.
I plan to get it on the dyno when they install my lowering springs tomorrow.

agreed. i don't think my butt dyno is mis-calibrated.
as i noted, i need to get the car officially dyno'd. the tuner is aware of my concern.
will report back once i have updates from the dyno measurement.
^ Meh, I’m in the camp that I just don’t see the point of these really high hp SUV’s/Crossovers. It all just seems silly to me. If you want performance the. get a damn sports car.

The X3M Comp rips a low 3 second 0-60 in 3rd party testing which is just awesome for for a vehicle of this type. I would not consider it pointless when you consider the fact that straight line acceleration is what 95% of the people who buy these products are looking for, what happens when you step on the gas.
I don’t really care what the consumer wants. Consumer demand has nothing to do with what a great performance car is and what I value.
You might as well buy a Tesla Model S if 0-60 time is all that matters. No need to tune, end of story. Enjoy the ride and have a blast.
As some leaders in the automotive world have said, the HP wars are becoming ridiculous. Once we can make fast acceleration as ubiquitously available to grandmas as it is to sports car enthusiasts, it starts to lose appeal to me. I want speed, but I expect a whole lot more than that. And the 911 delivers that in a way that an SUV never could.
