I am very cautious on aftermarket tunes as I have never had a successful one.
My first Turbocharged car the "Tuner" overboosted the turbo car and it ran super - really fast, really fun, and then head gasket blew and manifold cracked. That was an expensive repair I had to do out-of-pocket as the "Tuner" claimed it was not his fault. I went back to stock on the car.
The second one was a BMW M3 that was chipped. I did data runs on the car before and after, and even with their high flow air filter / cold air intake, the chip and open exhaust the car slowed in straight line acceleration, but made great noises. I had proof of it, too, through data logs. Finally the "Tuner" offered to pay me off if I would stop comments on his products on the BMW forums. They are no longer in business.
This is not to say what you are getting is not a good product, its simply that I have had 100% failure with aftermarket engine mods (and I friend of mine hydrolocked his engine on his car after getting a "high flow" air filter, resulting in a new engine in his car that was out of pocket for him). There is some risk in doing these sorts of things, just be sure you can accept that risk and know that many of these things will void aspects of your warranty. Speaking for myself, I would never buy a "Tuned" car that was for sale, and if I find my current ride is not fast enough - I will sell it and get the faster model the manufacturer offers.

This car could use another 100 whp. I’m sure a tune can get it there similar to the 991.2

I've been on performance car forums for nearly 20 years and have seen guys make this same passive aggressive move under the thin veil of "humor" about tuning/modifying during the warranty period more times than I can remember. It is not your place to tell anyone that they already have enough power and that there is no need to modify for more.
It is clear from your numerous posts here that you have issues with the fact that many of us do not allow the potential loss of the factory warranty to control what we do with our cars. No need for you to be making judgments about guys who modify their cars just because you are apparently fearful to do so yourself.

MOD ALL THE THINGS! Life is short, do what you like with your money. Screw the "what about your precious warranty" naysayers. These engines have proven they can handle a tune without issue. LOTS of people have tuned the 991.2 and from what I can find there has never been a documented engine failure from a tuned 3.0TT.
After lots of research on 992 tunes I'll be using M-engineering for my C2S in the next month. Test pipes + tune should yield +120whp and similar torque from their software. That is near Turbo S power out of a rear drive platform that weighs ~300lbs less than the Turbos. I CAN'T WAIT!
For what its worth M-engineering is a sponsor on Rennlist and they are also the official technical support partner for Porsche Motorsports NA. Not 100% sure what that means but I assume if PMNA is partnering with your company you probably know your sh**

Stop passing judgment on the what others do and you won't find yourself making excuses for yourself. Take a break Pal and just enjoy your 911 as it is under warranty conditions.

We all know Tupper is new. He's an excited new owner. He's still learning the ropes. I think you are looking for something that really isn't their. We all knew what he meant. Seems you didn't. He wasn't throwing shade on anyone. To me he was suggesting (with shock) that a turbo S would be more than enough power for most people. And I would agree. Most people cant handle a base 911 to its full potential. It has nothing to do with the owner being nuts. Be nice man.

This is one option that seems close. I don’t know about publicly available hand helds though - I pinged bbi since they were basically advertising this tune, but they stopped responding.
PE Tuned seemed to have one ready but they stopped replying as well...maybe it’s a theme...

PE Tuned is local to me and I’ve even stopped by to talk to them.
They have their tune and I’m pretty sure it hasn’t gone anywhere. I’m just not sure if they are selling it to out of towners or if they just want people to bring their car into the shop
