Default 2021 Squeaks/Rattles

For all you folks who've gotten their 21 MY's, how are the squeaks and rattles? I was wondering if Porsche improved upon some of the reported rattles from the 2020 models.

Taking the Door Card off and on is actually fairly easy. Or at least compared to other cars it's fairly easy.
The best I can do at the moment is below, hope it's of some help:
.

Step #1: Remove this plastic End Cap, highlighted in red. It snaps into place.
Use a Trim Tool to remove it. It can be fairly stubborn but be careful.
There are two plastic clips that are an integral part of this end cap, and they are what retain it. FWIW they're not capable of withstanding much abuse.
.

Step #2: Now remove just the Torx Screw highlighted in red.
You do not need to remove the other two screws.
.

Step #3A: Open the Door Handle, highlighted here in red.
.

Step #3B: With the Door Handle Open it will expose a Rubber Strap. The Rubber Strap is highlighted in red.
Use a trim tool or a very small screw driver, to unhook the strap from the front.
Do not remove this strap completely. Leave the rearmost part of the strap attached.
.

Step #3C: With the Rubber Strap pulled back, a Torx Screw can be seen. Remove this Torx Screw.
.

Step #4: At the very front corner of the door there is a Plastic Triangle.
Gently but firmly pull this Plastic Triangle up as the red arrow shows.
There will be a very small Wiring Harness that connects this Plastic Triangle to the Car.
This Wiring Harness is for the Red LED that blinks when you lock the car.
Once this Plastic Triangle has been disconnected from the Door Card (wiring still attached) simply set it aside or let it dangle safely and harmlessly.
.

Step #5: The Door Card can now be pulled up and away from the Door.
There are at least three Metal Clips at the very top (large red arrows) of the Door which must be released vertically.
Then there are a number of Corrugated Press Fit Clips (small red arrows) most of which will disconnect easily when you pull the Door Card away from the Door.
if any of these Corrugated Press Fit Clips prove to be stubborn, use a Trim Tool to release them.

Now here's where it can get a bit complicated.
The Door Pull Cable and a number of Wiring Harnesses are still connecting the Door Card to the Door.
They will all need to be detached. Do not force any of these. They all have little release pins and clips.
Google and YouTube can be your friend if you are not familiar with how to disconnect these types of connectors.

Lastly . . . . reinstallation is the opposite of the above.

Not to suggest 2020 models were riddled with them. I have none in my July 2019 build.

Passenger side Door Card. Harmonic buzz. 2021 C2S

Souce: Issues with the ultrasonic riveting of the door card assembly. In my case it was the one used as an alignment post that is also a threaded mount for one of the screws that retains the interior door handle module to the door card. For something so simple; I wish I'd taken a picture, it is rather difficult to describe in words.

Aside from a minor buzz in the door handles that was quickly addressed when the car was new, my 2020 is rattle-free. If '21s have rattles, I suggest that as with the 2020s they are specific to the car, not necessarily indicative of a problem tied to a production year (the so-called “Bose rattle” excepted, which is actually blown speakers).

My Dec 2019 is relatively free. Slight rpm-related buzz in center rear view mirror console, and (after 4K miles) something loose behind drivers dash (or under stead) that bounces with road imperfections/acceleration - can't locate it and killing me. Otherwise pretty good. More rattles than my other non-German cars - but on par German for me.

21' here. Both doors rattle like crazy by the door handles - slight pressure near the area stops the noise completely. Service appointment tomorrow to get it looked into.

What did they do to fix that issue? I have the same thing going on in my 21'

Agreed, 2020 MY cars were generally fine. Some people had a few issues but mainly they were no better or worse than any other model year. Remember we got these cars well after Europe, they'd had lots of practice already.

Really none here for my 2020. The passenger seat rattles a tad over bumps when empty. But I don’t count that, I consider it “sporty”

I get a fuzz in the passenger rear panel with high RPM revving, but that’s due to the “sheer power of the engine causing the upholstery to vibrate” in my mind. I wouldn’t count that either.

2021 C2S: Summer Build

I have two rattles;

1. Passenger side in the back, sounds like it’s coming from the speaker area. Present on any mildly rough road, and acutely at very high RPM.

2. Weird honking buzz at super low RPM—like a high frequency shudder, lasts only a second. Hard to replicate, but happens on every drive.

Anyone else have either of these too?

1.) move your passenger seat belt clip up or down and see if that helps. Or check your back seat latches for play.

2.) I suspect you are hearing exhaust honk/drone between 1600-1800rpm for a nanosecond. Sadly that is characteristic of the car.

My doors rattle from the speakers and it can't be fixed any further. Porsche tried to eliminate as much as possible and they did good. They found other vibrations from the engine bay and got that fixed to.

I think the 2021 cars still have bad speakers and or buzz.

Not 100% certain what precisely they did. The work order says "Made adjustments to door panel and door release trim." When I got the car back the interior door handle release (both doors) was positioned slightly indented relative to the surrounding trim, whereas beforehand it was flush. Now have about 6000 km more on the car, in temps ranging from heat of summer to about -15 C, and the noise hasn't returned on either door.
