Suncoast Parts has them. Don't know about DIY.

Yes, it’s possible. Suncoast has the Alcantara version for just over $1,500.

I wouldn’t DIY it though, just due to the airbag hookup. Maybe not hard, I just prefer to leave that to a pro.

Have you driven the GT wheel? I actually prefered standard. You also have better visibility of the instrument cluster. Throwing it out there just in case.

I also have and like the thinner standard wheel. I test drove cars with both and, although tempted to get the GT wheel since it was such an inexpensive option, really preferred the feel of the standard wheel. I seem to be in the minority however.

Same here. I too was tempted and did a fairly indulgent build, but it wasn’t for me...just too bulky for my hands. IMO, the GT wheel is not so much an upgrade, it’s a personal choice of what feels best to your hand and eye...price isn’t a consideration. Though the aftermarket price would give me pause.

For me I just couldn't over the bolts on the GT wheel...so out of place in the cabin which has no similar style...dunno?!

I think it’s different, not better.

And anyone looking to buy one should really sit down and grab it, I don’t have it on any of the ones I have owned, including two custom builds.

I agree, I got the GT wheel because it felt better in my hands. There is no wrong decision here.

I got the GT wheel for the thumb notches which is something I prefer. The downside was even less visibility of dials. That said, I can see all my dials on my Cayenne but with the exception of oil temp seldom look at anything other than RPM and speed which are in the center.

There's an entrance on PIWIS regarding steering wheel diameter, if that's relevant to the operation or just an option descriptor I don't know. Perhaps it's best you ask a trusted SA.

No, I prefer the standard wheel too. In fact I'd like it thinner and a little larger for more steering feel.

Thanxs again guys. I am curious to know how the ‘normal wheel lovers’ feel about the sport suspension aka spasm.

Happy with the sports suspension / SPASM. I know some people find it a bit stiff but I don't. My car for reference is a fairly simple manual 2S build, no RAS / PDCC / Sports Exhaust.
