992 Carrera T Club
A funny thing happened on the way to the forum today...
Quick summary of my time driving a GT3 vs my 911T Aero: The extra 100hp certainly don't hurt! The steering on the GT3 is INSANELY GOOD! The NA engine sounds SO good, even at idle, let alone at 9k RPM! (not that I took my friend's GT3 to redline). The T's turbo whine sounds really good from outside the car. The T Aero looks REALLY good on the road. I never saw it driving before. Wow, it is sweet looking.
The 6spd in the GT3 is much nicer than the 7spd to shift.
The brakes feel the same on the street, which is saying a lot for the T.
This GT3 has sport seats, not carbon buckets, so it was very comfy on the street.
FAL is very handy! And necessary on a GT3. I'm jealous.
Overall, it's a really sweet car, and showed me how nice a car the T is also.

I did the decal delete on mine but my freeze date was feb . Haven’t been on configurator since mine landed . I don’t want to temp myself into trying to get a gts allocation and making more irresponsible financial decisions

Damn!!
Missed out on a local meet this week - wasn't even aware it was happening little more than 9 miles from where I live.
They even had a brand new Dakar there (4.45) and (almost as exclusive as a 992 T) !
Here goes if you like listening to the sound of various 911's..
Look out for the Dakar at 4.45

@Barkat03 As requested, here’s my audio update. Going exactly as planned when I ordered my T. We just added 2 of 3 components needed for system upgrade. I’m 90% there in terms of satisfaction. So pleased I didn’t get the Bose. I heard the Burmester at the Porsha dealer and my Bass is exponentially cleaner and louder. U know, I used to DJ at a club….bass is at that level now…whenever I want it. Currently, I’m at $1,200. I’m waiting for the final part and I’ll be $1,700 all-in installed. So glad I did this mod first. The fun factor just went up by 10X. We’ll see but may not need to upgrade exhaust or ECU.
I know folks here don’t care much about audio. Details likely require 2X / 3X what I just typed. So PM me if u want the details.
CU later. Gonna be driving all night! With my new audio and ambient lighting, turned my T into a mini night club

Are you going to share the final build when you're done, or do you want people to keep messaging you?😂
Also, would you mind sharing the process of how you actually pick the components you use?

It would be a lot easier for many of us if you would just share it or send me a PB so I can share it in the audio topic. Because I know you don’t want to post there. So please don’t make it more complicated than you are already doing now
Thanks for the short but nice and clear comparison. If you want your steering to feel a bit more like the GT3 I would advice you to change the camber like I did.

About the lurkers: this is just standard forum practice. Always more people reading than actually posting.
This is not good form.
I don't have a horse in the race as I have Bose and don't plan to touch my sound system.
Either keep things to yourself or share them freely. Coming to the forum and saying you found a solution to a problem many are struggling with, then saying you're not going to share it, then asking people for... what... money?!?! Be classier.

BTW, I appreciate your feedback. I should be more careful what I post here. Also, if anyone is seriously looking for a solution, I’ve posted my solution here (with pics) previously more than once.

Sorry, u mistook that and it read that way. That was just a joke. I wasn’t asking for and don’t need anyone’s money. I’ve mentioned this before here numerous times. A lot of what I post here is a joke. I’ll delete last message if it creates any confusion.
