Hey, check it for damage, repair and or report as necessary. They have extremely high-end body shop facilities there that are considered an extension of the factory. If all is good, they clear it for transport.

The quoted 385 PS / 450 Nm must be absolute minimums, worst case scenario numbers.
Maybe someone will tune their car and will do a "before" run on the dyno, but I reckon the numbers are close to 400 PS and 500 Nm. On the 991.2 T, Litchfield measured around 15 bhp more than the official number (365 bhp -> 375-385 bhp), on several cars that were tuned by them.
No intention whatsoever to tune mine, 385 or 400 PS is more than enough, love to be basking in that aural ambience and stir the gasoline with that nice short shift lever.

Yes, I am in Germany.
Nope, haven't heard of them until now, but also, I wouldn't have because I am not quite someone from their customer pool.
They have 20+ 5* reviews on Google (DMC Exotic Car Tuning Limited)

If someone has more info on what we are thinking that would be awesome. I know we are in formative stages. If It fits in with my schedule it would be incredible to see all these cars in person. Cheers!

I assume this functionality is the same as my old Taycan, where there is a “Dynamic” option for the colors? That was my preference, it changes the colors to match the album artwork on the current song you are playing. Works with CarPlay (Pandora and Spotify). You actually get more colors that way than the predefined colors, but you can’t pick them yourself.
Yes on Dynamic option. Options unlimited. It’s a bargain compared to some of their other options. Interior is too black so I added ambient lighting, RED dials….just enough now… skipped red seat belts cause they get dirty. It’s similar to my Benz. Something a bit different from Benz is that it lights up the footwells really well (brightness adjustable) without light bars on dash. I find them distracting on my Benz when driving. Porsha may have done this by design so eyes get focused on road and instrument cluster while ripping in your T.

Yes. Join us! No details yet. Keep checking this thread for updates. Likely beginning to middle of September. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting it but I’ve met some really cool people here and meeting up will be great for not just the Ts but also make some new T friends for the future! OK if we have duplicate colors since every build is different but curious what color yours is and is expected delivery date?

DANKA!

They have a wing similar to factory aero, but it’s in carbon fiber. My plan going in was to maintain the active wing to keep for future… all bolt on …and maybe replace it with carbon wing. We’ll see.

Bear Mountain, NY would be a decent location to meet. As would somewhere in the Westchester area.

Perhaps we should plan it around an existing cars and coffee event or car show. The events in New Canaan, CT are great.

Hi
I have been following this thread from almost the beginning and haven’t participated till now.
So this is my first post in this thread since I have got the delivery of my 992 T more than a month ago and drove it for more than 3000 km until now.
It’s my daily and have taken it to some twisty roads and to put it in simple words, what a joy to drive.
Some specs on the car
7 speed manual (standard but worth mentioning &#128513
Sport exterior package
Sport side skirts
RS wheels
Rear steering
Carbon roof
and few more

Some pictures of my solo drive of more than 500kms

That sounds like a great idea. Only thing is I think certain people have prior commitments on certain dates. Let’s continue the dialogue…

BEWARE CLEANING / DRYING PPF!
Lesson learned!
When drying your just washed PPF’d car, take care!
I was drying it with the special towel taking great care, but on the rear light seems I maybe got a bit too aggressive?
I’m undecided whether or not to get the PPF company to redo this bit or order an aftermarket (colourless) brake light??

Yikes! Park it out in the sun for an hour or two... Most PPF should be "Self Healing"... but requires a bit of heat from the sun to activate. Might resolve itself though

It’s in the sun as we speak - might take a (gently) hairdryer to it if that doesn’t work?!
Or get the transparent one??

That's not normal. PPF won't do that from a drying towel on a clean car. Are you sure that's the PPF or is it actually under the PPF and you are just noticing it now? I know the black trim around the tail lights and trunk area on my Mustang did scratch VERY easily. I was warned about it and so I PPF'd it before I ever even washed the car.

Good question?!
I sent the image to the PPF company to confirm that the light has been PPF’d.
If the answer is no then beware because that light (and others?) scratches really easily!!
