My TYD showed the same thing. It sat at Emden for ~5 days. Now the ship is still battling its way across the Atlantic through strong winds. Big slowdown.

If your on the Violet Ace it's the slow boat from Germany, ETA Halifax just moved out to Mar 20th @ 0400 UTC. I'm on the same boat with you. Good luck to us!

There’s still some time to get some great Porsche Motorsport gear. Maybe you show up with a good mug? Or a color matched coffee tumbler that I posted earlier?

Are you in direct contact with Joey from Porsche NA (Delivery Programs Manager) regarding getting an ED date? What your dealer told you earlier is... wrong. Leipzig hasn't even released Sept dates yet so you ought to have a shot at getting one. Apparently they release ED dates roughly five months ahead of time. For instance, Joey didn't get July Leipzig dates until sometime between 2/1 - 2/3; unfortunately he only got 10 dates for July (he had somehow known they'd be very limited for July). And he was expecting to receive August Leipzig dates around 3/1 but in fact only got a partial cache of them just yesterday. So if you stay in contact with him, maybe you have a shot at a Sept Leipzig date which may be released sometime in early April.

Funny, I just got my ice grey picture from the paint shop and it's literally identical to yours. I know that should be expected but just thought maybe lighting differences ect would be noticeable. To the point, how do we know Porsche doesn't just throw up on the TYD page the same standard "ice grey chassis" picture to everyone?

I might be reading your message wrong, but my dealer and many people in the European Delivery thread confirm that their cars arrive no issue with the extinguisher (with only a handful of people saying it was removed at customs). I just had a friend do ED this fall and received his Cayman with the Fire extinguisher in tact. Joey also said that it is a hit or miss whether or not the port removes the extinguisher... so as a precaution they provide language in the ED paperwork to state that compensation will be given to make up for the cost of the option.

Not certain what you are reading wrong. I've been told not to leave anything in the car if I want to see it on the other side. I think it is a real concern about the fire extinguisher not making it. They would have to credit you, as you can't replace them in the US. As that is one thing you can't put in your suitcase, I hope it makes it!

Very nice. Really like the Porsche Crest on the center console lid and glad I specced that.
Is that the standard leather? The Interior trim in Exterior color and Silver seat belts look great.
Well done and congratulations.
