Used google translate to read the article and no additional info or insight.
But the video looks more informative and has the gulf blue press car in some different surroundings. He even takes off the cover to reveal the lightweight battery etc. Love that gulf blue color in different lighting almost thought it was off white in some portions of the video.
Maybe one of our fellow rennlisters who is fluent French could glean some useful information for the rest of us.

Thank you! Im torn between ordering, and hoping it comes in the "swag bag" when I arrive for Euro Delivery... Truth be told, I can drive a car this color, not sure I could walk around with the coffee mug (Maybe a good gift for the GF)

He simply insisted on the lightweight (!), agility and precision for a pure driving pleasure. He said that it’s a very pleasant car to drive and he doesn’t feel the lack of power. Positive feedback on the RAS and the PTV.

You should be set with that. I'm likely going to opt for the CTEK Lithium-only charger, but if you have the Porsche rebranded CTEK one that has the Lithium mode you are good to go. The CTEK I currently have only works for AGM and standard batteries.

Funniest thing is the Gulf Blue car he was driving did not have RAS. I confirmed with another journalist on twitter that they only got to drive one car each.
Attached is the link for the car he drove.

Makes me feel even better about not optioning RAS. There is also discussion on this thread or maybe it was another RAS thread that Nick Murray was at a Porsche event and journalists raving about it and later found out the cars were not specced with RAS.
No disrespect to people who are optioning it. I am sure you will have better track times otherwise Porsche would not make it standard on the GT3 etc. and may need it based on locale in the city etc. But goes to show that in normal or even spirited driving journalists that do this for a living cannot tell the difference.

The RAS is one of the options that Porsche is letting you buy out of the goodness of their hearts - with this base engine and most used T buyers will look for that option. Seems necessary to add to the car on that basis alone. The reality is that type of option is not likely to have much impact on cornering at the speeds that most of us old guys feel comfortable using on corners on a PCA club drive to lunch.
put the car in the hands of an experienced driver on a track and this capability likely makes a difference- 10ths of a second difference.
Also you can mention you have “RWS” to other Porsche friends so that is worth the investment.

I think there are some people who want a “purist” experience and RAS pulls you a bit further away from it (debatable how much purity is left). Most note it is not a “natural” feeling when it is activated.
I have gone back and forth on it in the last few weeks. Leaning against it for now.

It’s funny I looked through one of the old 991 T threads and found a bit of the opposite. The RAS was an impediment to sale. The poster mentioned that some people didn’t understand it. This was a few years back so attitudes may have become more accepting/knowledgeable.
