we looked at all 4, yellow and red were a no. left with black and white.
White just to me looks great, with property maintanence, it will stay that way and limit swirl marks
Have a Model X thats white too...which has ppf/ceramic coat and no swirl marks whatsoever in last 5 years with very heavy use..

It varies a bit by region, but yes! Absolutely! I used to be in the Northeast Region and they would host galas and BBQ's and such. After autocross many would head to a local pub. I'm still a member (8th year now, I think?), but have yet to interact much with the Pacific Northwest Chapter. When my T arrives, I'll be all into the track events. It also gets you into the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart for free if you happen to pass through. lol.

Having had two black Porsches I can comment. PPF+ceramic should totally prevent swirl marks. My ex-Cayman was the base black and was a swirl magnet. I just gave up after a while and embraced the wear (helped in really driving the crap out of it). My current Macan is Jet Black Metallic and does a much better job of avoiding swirl marks. It still gets a little, but I also drive it through dirt, gravel, backroads, off-road... All things considered, it holds up far better. I haven't done PPF or ceramic on either.

Yes, not aiming for tinted windows.
My freeze date is 40 more days from now, but not aiming for any changes.
Also, folks may not like, but went with PDK on my T and chose RAS over FAL.
RS spyder and full leather package.
Dropped rear seats back in as have little ones.
Any thoughts on joining clubs etc (Porsche club of America?)

If you’re English, T TIME
or, if you hate the car, TEED OFF
or, if you golf, TEED UP

May be topical, but this was my last plate

I've done some Laguna Seca track days with other outfits (Golden Gate Lotus Club and Speed SF) but was a spectator (walking the paddock, parking lot) at a PCA event there and was on an entirely different level than I expected. One-off Porsche track only builds, big-rigs there with shops that manage "arrive and drive" P cars for customers and was almost all GT Porsches (even some GT4 Clubsports). Guessing that's not representative of a typical/standard PCA track day. Admittedly, a bit intimidating for a relative track day novice.

PS: We have recently had two Porsches with the metallic Jet black paint. That paint is fine, too. One of them was hit by a big dirt clod that came off a semi trailer on an interstate highway. No problem matching the paint. It looked brand new when repaired at our dealer's certified Porsche repair shop.
God bless you,
TT

I was really thinking about getting a custom plate that reads “ETHOS” but my wife quickly talked me out of it. The more I think about it, the more I would like the Race Tex roof lining and rear view mirror surround. Looks awesome but can’t really justify the cost. Perhaps if I’m ever in the position to order another Porsche I will get race Tex everywhere..
Also, I must say I really like the Illinois wildlife plate. Looks good!
